Bought ticket for BL upper tier yesterday. Only a few single seats still available. What’s all that about ?

Those three would definitely be in my top 5 as well. I will include The Clash, but my absolute favourite was Wire. Still producing great albums to this day. Seeing them live for the first time was life changing.
Think we’re very similar in a lot of ways

My top 5

Will Young
David Cassidy
Barry Blue (Do you wanna dance 🕺)
The Glitter Band
Jigsaw

Not gonna be a Sell-out for this reason, there will also no doubt be others!!
My seat will be empty, fxxk Wilder.

OK!, real reason is I'm in Tenerife and so is my ST. forgot to take it outta my wallet for my lad to 'look after' in my absence. Shift happens!. Sowwy Cwissy 🥰😘😘😘

if he goes to ticket office they will do him a one off ticket for the game if he can confirm customer number, name and address i've done it before.

If it's anything like previous years ticket sales there actually is areas with seats together but for some reason they go on sale late. Be it they are kept for players and staff and not needed or whatever but it's clearly an issue that affects some pay on the gate choices.
That BL upper section is where they reserve the complimentary seats for ex-players and so on. I’ve been up there in years gone by using the tickets of an ex player just for a change of scenery from our usual seats.

That’s how it used to be anyway. Not sure about the last couple of seasons as I’ve not been up there.

I, too, spent a happy time in my late teens watching and playing in punk bands. Oi was punk’s bastard offspring, a short lived abomination that didn’t have the first clue what punk was about.

Who were your favourite punk bands?

You might not have liked Oi, but the ethos was very punk; just get up there and do it. The difference was, it was kids from council estates, rather than the Bromley Art School contingent.

I was a bit too young in 76/77, but quickly became a fan of Sham, the Upstarts, SLF, the Damned and the Clash.

The Marples ran a punk night on a Monday night in the early 80s, which mixed Crass anarcho bands, Oi and locals like the Mau Maus.
Brilliant times for me.

They have rail seats at Tottenham.
Have they ever, locked them up to increase capacity by having more people in those areas but standing. That's a negative.

Perhaps they did it to future proof if there ever was a change on a new stadium.

Our situation is vastly different. We had overcrowding due to standing in those areas. Exactly the opposite of what SAG wanted. So explain why spending more cost on a rail seats would have been appropriate?

About 150 tickets left online at the moment.

Quite a few singles and most of the tickets are gangway A and B towards the front of the kop.

I was just responding to your claim that rail seating would never happen in this country. That’s all.

Not sure why you think I would feel that rail seating would have been appropriate for us 🤷‍♂️

I didn't claim that at all. I stated it was pointless for the reason above.

More cost and no benefit.

The Stranglers and Buzzcocks are touring together!?!
Playing at O2 in Leeds on Friday, 17th October and O2 Apollo, Manchester the evening after.

Never knew that always thought it were SS or JS for complimentary.

It's always comes down to a ROI and the simple fact is we won't see that given it happens so rarely throughout the season. With limited funds where it means spending nothing in one window for a couple of thousand extra for 3-4 games a season, it’s not going to be a priority.
If the fanbase wants it, maybe more need to attend to encourage the board to see any value in the short term.

120,000 in the waiting list for season tickets at Man U. why don't they build a 250,000 seat stadium?

Back at BDTBL the waitng list is closer to zero, why don't we build a bigger ground?

Someone will still say 'build it and they will come- ambition'

120,000 in the waiting list for season tickets at Man U. why don't they build a 250,000 seat stadium?

Just read this and thought, thats bollocks so I looked it up.

"The Manchester United season ticket waiting list is very long, with estimates suggesting a wait of around 25 years, as the queue currently exceeds 120,000 fans. The club hasn't opened the waiting list to new applicants since 2011, making it challenging to get a season ticket. Fans on the list must wait for the club to release seats, with the pace depending on how many season tickets are renewed and the potential for new stadium construction"

Not only that, they have to pay to be put on the list, up to 50 quid. American Owners corrupt as fuck.
