As it looks inevitable that Wilder is on for another rescue mission, what are your thoughts on looking to bring Billy Sharp in to replace Jack Lester on the coaching staff??? Understand he’s doing his coaching badges….. one for the future???

Out of all the available, competent & experienced coaching staff that's available to hire yes let's absolutely go for somebody who is still playing with no coaching qualifications.
I think he's done his badges
It's inevitable he will come back but I don't think it will be now as he still seems to love playing

Billy Sharp is playing League 1 football

I think Billy would probably want to carry on playing for Donny.

Jagielka back as a coach (if he's done his badges!)
Sure this Jags stuff is tongue in cheek but sure I heard him on coms for Sky. That has to be a much better stress free job for top ex pros than the muck and nettles of coaching every day! Sitting in a warm studio couple of times a week to waffle nonsense or graft everyday on the training pitch. Know which one I'd prefer

You're not wrong haha. Would just be good to have a new face (and ex-Blade) amongst the coaching staff! Typical Lester took the Brentford job just days ago, he'd have been back here.

Yep old man Knill back with his amazing free kick n corner routines

I'm not saying Billy Sharp is the answer, but I do wonder if Wilder could do with refreshing his back room staff a little.

Perhaps Ben Mee can take on a bit of a leadership role this season with a view to a move up?
