Reminds me of when Gullit left Shearer on the bench for Newcastle and was sacked the next day.

When you’re under pressure as a manager and make a bold selection like leaving your best player on the bench, you’re fucked if you end up losing the match.
 
He has to be thinking hold out til 60 and then let Gus and Tyrese attack with aplomb.
 
I’ve not been impressed by Campbell so far but he’s had limited service….

Problem is we have crap strikers to replace him…

One - too inexperienced
Cannon - shit
Ings - seemingly already injured

So if you want to make a change up front then cannon is the ‘least worst option’ - our recruitment in that area has been shocking

Not sure what other changes I’d expect tbh other than the ones made

Loads have been travelling half way round the world so you can’t be sticking them straight back in ones on loan from Ipswich so can’t play.

Hamer - you could question - but he’s probably trying to make us more solid.

So for me he’s die what he can do and I will reserve judgement until the game has gone …

If it’s still shit he needs to go.

He's gone for more energy , less talent.
If we don't see this pressing chaos ball now then we never will with the squad he has.

He’s certainly got some balls - hasn’t gone for the easy option. Problem is, I fear that he might get hung by them.

Peck captain. Really. Theres 41 more games, at 2 points per game we can still get a comfortable play off berth
 

no hamer is very surprising. Campbell not surprising he's really disappointed me this season. i had such high hopes but for large parts i forgotten he was on the pitch

This Selles is not for turning. Same formation 4-3-3 again. Formation obsessed. Seems he can't coach any other style.

COH and Peck will get over run in the middle. Everyone in the country can see this apart from Mr Selles.

As for making a youngster like Peck as Captain after 5 previous no shows. Ridiculous. At least we've got a lump at the back in McGuinness. Mee and Tanganga must be wondering if it was a wise choice to sign on the dotted line.

I expect a lot of running around for 10 minutes with constant shouts of press press from the sidelines. Then rinse repeat we run out of ideas.

Hard to work out if he's completely incompetent or just plain stubborn.
 
It's like going to a preseaon friendly, no idea how we are going to play and it feels as if it does not matter as the seasons fucked already!

Actually strangely optimistic.
 
Didn't expect that line up. Like, at all. Cannon alone up top is a shock. Unless, maybe, we're going back to Bristol mentality and Brooks, Barry and O'Hare are going to buzzing about all over the final third feeding a poacher like Cannon. Maaaaybe...
