Can't see our biggest ever win in the Premier League been beaten any time soon.

Very typically, Look North reporting that Simon Rodger, who I don't think ever played for us but was known as a centre half for Crystal Palace, scored the sixth goal. It was of course Paul Rogers.

Yes mate still playing, normally twice a week!
I'm pushing 60 so it's not easy keeping up with the young lads in their 20s. 😆
I had to pack up at 50 and now paying for playing for too long with osteo-arthritis in left ankle.
Ankle replacement surgery next month.
However, playing days definitely over :(

Dave Bassett still my favourite Blades manager of all time. Loved him and the never say die attitude he installed in us.

Will also never forget how broken he looked after we had got relegated at Chelsea with the last minute goal ehen he had so nearly kept us up again with a scratch team and after the board had flogged Deano to Leeds in the previous summer. He was as gutted as any born and bred Blades fan. On the flip side I have so many happy memories of his United teams as a young man and following the team around the country, before I signed up and served overseas on and off for a while. After all the mid 80s dross United served up, he was like a breath of fresh air for the majority of us Unitedites and gave our club its respect back. What a bloke. Living legend.

I’m sure Pinchy would love to send his warmest regards to Harry on his birthday…
