We should have signed him instead of Traore when we went up under Hecky but I'm not convinced Hecky was in charge of many of those transfers.

He's had a year out though but hopefully back to where he was at Rotherham.

Think he can play as a second striker as well as a winger but unless we change for action then he'll be on the wing.

Watched him quite a bit in his Rotherham days where he reminded me of a stronger version of Peter Ndlovu in that he is always a good outlet when defending and can quickly take play from one of the field to the other. He can also play rwb in a 3-5-2 and down the middle as a striker where again his pace and strength cause problems.
Could never understand why we didn't pick him up from Rotherham but know he has had injury issues since and don't know if this has affected him.
Actually met him once in his early days at Rotherham and he came across as a pleasant lad who was eager to learn and improve his game.
He was living in Sheffield then so hopefully this will help him to settle in and he could well prove a good fit for us.

Played for my local club here in Cork and indeed won a cup medal. A very focused driven individual whose made the most of his obvious talent. If he still posses,s the pace he had before the bad injury he had, he'll be a big asset. Brooks is going to have to up his game to keep this lad out
