Worst Sheffield United manager I've ever seen

Worse than Weir
Worse then Adams
Worse than Heath
Worse than Robson
Worse than Slav
Worse than McEwan
He has potential, but he's not been in the job long enough to be seen as the worst. Surely that honour is held by Martin Peters, who was manager of the highest-paid team in the old Division Three, and took us from promotion contenders in November to relegation to the Fourth Division in May.

Happy Harry Haslam also in the running.

He is worse than any of those you mention, none of them had anywhere near the resources Selles has got at his disposal he is an absolute embarrassment he is management equivalent of Ali Dia.

Think at this point Steve Bracknall would do a better job.

With this mans record I'd have Chris Wilder back at least he would instill some passion in the players
What I saw again was a disjointed group of players play individually
Why put Cannon on he is another waste of money people blame Wilder for buying him but at the end of the day it's the money men who make the final decision
Lets ask Mr Selles to leave before he ruins my club single handedly

I saw my first game under Peters but that's the only one, I think. I was very young so discounting him!

I would drive to Lands end to pick Wilder back up

Can we stop calling for fucking Wilder back please? He's gone. It didn't work. He can't work with these owners. Move on. We just need a better manager. One who is prepared to play the best way to suit his players. Jesus. A child can see we need a better midfield. He could have played Peck and Godfrey in a 2 if he didn't want to play Soumare (for whatever reason).

Of course he would if get have enough zeros at the end.
Money wouldn't be his main concern. He must be set up for life now. The main issue would be whether he could work with the new owners.

Even under Slav I could see what he was trying to do despite never getting the wingers he needed.

With Selles there was a kernel of an idea in pre-season but now I have no idea what he is trying to do. He either doesn't have the players to do it or the players don't understand it.

He couldn't work with PA either - until they both had a change of heart.

You say 'it didn't work' but we won 28 of our games and got 92 points - enough for automatic promotion in any other season.

Jury's still out on worse than Weir. That's the most complimentary I can be right now.

Weir got 4 points from his first 4 games. Compared to Selles , he looks like a cross between Alf Ramsey and Bill Hankly.

Hankly, one of, if not the best manager ever

What are the odds of them being any better at picking a manager second time around?

They got rid of one that accrued 92 points and accrued 31 wins.

Nobody could work with this Board with their stupid Plan A. But now that excuse isn’t valid for some of the reasons listed.

No doubt, despite his detractors, Chris would have had us top 6 and not rock bottom. Even the most deluded in the anti-Wilder camp would admit that.

No choice now. They need to pull the trigger before it become a total washout.

Get Dyche, someone that can organise an someone who won’t send us down.

What a perfectly good waste of a season by folk who didn’t have enough knowledge to make major decisions.
