  • Pass accuracy respectable (76.5% overall, 85.4% short, 82.7% medium)

  • Accuracy lower than Robinson when pressed
  • Some discipline issues: 22 fouls, 1 OG
  • Creative passing not sharp (only 7 key passes despite high progressions)

Passing Rankings:

  • Most Progressive: Bobby Thomas (132 progressive passes, highest of group)
  • Most Accurate: Jack Robinson (82.5% overall, elite short/medium)
  • Best Long Passing: Ben Mee (53.5%, consistent outlet)
  • Weakest Passing Profile: Japhet Tanganga (low accuracy, poor long passing, limited creativity)
Thats class cheers.
I suppose it depends on partnerships and whether Selles wants a ball winner and a ball player separately. An all-rounder is way out of our price range. You dont get Prime JOC's for under £20m anymore.

I’d seen Hellas Verona had had a bid turned down earlier in the summer, but I’ve heard he’s a big fan of industry and steel production has even been seen taking lessons on buffing cutlery
Going to China then.

Agreed - even Chris Morgan wasn’t that tall but his attitude along with great timing made him a fantastic dominating centre half. Tom Cowan was a diminutive full-back but was fantastic in the air.
Met Morgs at Cheltenham this year. I tell everyone I'm 5'10, but if he's 5'11, then I've definitely shrunk 😂😂😂😂

On the London thing. Yes it's clearly a fantastic place to live for young lads with loads of money, but never rule out the yearning for a change.

I have met a few fairly well off people around here, who previously lived and worked around London and who couldn't wait to get out of the place.

And it's not as if they are moving to Siberia. The centre is crap, but some of the suburbs and leafier areas around Sheffield are gorgeous.

I reckon that game was Watford away, lost 1-0 I think, Lee Williamson scored. The only time I remember Morgs moaning to the ref that someone was ragging him about.
Henderson gafferred him that day.
Yep u r right and I'm pretty sure he did the same at BL once when Henderson was playing for Forest

I say this all the time, player's official heights regularly seem lower than they are.

I've got a picture with Morgs from over 10 years ago. I'm 5'11" and he's a bit taller than me.

Absolutely spot on !!

If he needs a guide to deliver the Dinnington Experience - he need look no further

Can we keep this on topic please?

Spoilsport 🙄 (srsly though, that sort of shit needs ridiculing mercilessly - although I accept it's annoying when you see an update to a thread and it's not what you're hoping for.)

BACK ON TOPIC - it's interesting when you look at other boards, everyone is desperate to see their club have a big. Just shows that:
a) he's made a big impression on everyone, and
b) it will be very difficult to get this over the line.

wheels are in motion
weighing up his options
could be a goer

I've always found watching a player in isolation in a game works best ,forget computer generated stats just open your eyes and make a judgement

Agreed.

Stats give a decent indication, but they're not the whole picture.

Selles said it was unfair to comment on tanganga due to us playing Millwall this weekend. reading between the lines, he wont feature for Millwall and will be a blades player next week. He said "Multiple" new players could sign and be involved at the weekend

Millwall forum suggesting Wall turned down bid worth £3.47 million from Verona so expect us to pay more.

Mee, Tangagnga, billing, goddfrey, woo, RND out, Robbo out

A lot of deals that people feel confident on and not much time left. How many will actually get over the line?

Would assume there is also movement for a right winger and centre forward too…lot of business to get through.
