If Davies or blaster were fit he wouldn't be playing.

I remember reading a post on here last season asking if he, blaster or cooper would get in a England squad one day and legitimately laughed out loud. He's championship quality and young. That means he won't be at his best all the time.

Peck has the higher ceiling of them but has spent his first full time season playing under a coach who didn't coach and is about to play his second without any kind of partner/support in centre mid.

If I were advising him, I'd be telling him to find a sporting programme that was going to help him maximise his potential as opposed to flog him until he drops

He was driving me up the wall today. Everytime he got the ball, he slowed us down.

I love his desire and willingness to get stuck in, but he really needs to get his head up when he is on the ball and look at the play in front of him.

I noticed both Cooper and Campbell give Peck a bollocking for not doing his job.

On the goal, he jogs back in no hurry. No doubt convinced that Sydie Peck is the greatest footballer England has ever produced.

Kid needs a wake-up call or to be fucked off. This has been his attitude all season. And that's before you take into account he plays football like a headless chicken, takes too long on the ball, gives it away all the time and breaks momentum in attacks. In footballing terms, it looks like he could be coached into a Premier League midfielder but he's not improved since the start of last season.

CW had him sussed and probably gave him a few rollickings

Peck will be better next to a ball player. We've waited a long time to see him with Arblaster. We should try it ASAP. It could be the highlight of this season

He's decent with the ball but not good enough to lead in that department. It would help him a lot if he didn't need to be so rushed every time he gets it

I'd respectably disagree. I thought Arblaster got a lot of favourable reviews due to our situation in the PL, his plucky attitude and the absolute shower of shite surrounding him.

I thought at times last season Peck was our best player...

I'd love to see them form a partnership with Hamer/OHare buzzing around for them to feed.

Sadly I suspect by the time Arblaster is back, it will all be academic.

If Davies were fit he wouldn’t be playing for us, but he’s a crock so we gave him a long contract for him to sit on his arse and make chopsticks.

Arblaster was a good player but he gets better every game he doesn’t play. Peck now has a season of experience in the first team for us, this might put him ahead of Arblaster when he returns. Let’s see.

There's no doubt that he has shown some ability and he has potential.

However he never scores, very rarely creates chances and assists and gets overran in midfield as his positioning is poor due to lack of experience. He's certainly not a tough-tackling holding midfielder either.

I don't see any particular issues with his attitude on the pitch but Wilder did say last year that 'He thinks he should be playing for Real Madrid and England'. Ok that's tongue in cheek but perhaps he thinks he's already made it?

He needs a strong Souza-type player next to him and better players around him, and its not his fault that several of them have been sold/gone back.

However being ruthless in the cold light of day in my opinion he's presently not adding/contributing enough to merit selection for the first team though would be interested in what others think.

I'd say he's had his head turned by speculation of West Ham interest. It's not happening no matter how much he'd like it to he is just not good enough, not in the Championship certainly not in the Premier league. He still has a lot to learn and hard work to do but it would seem he has a attitude and has decided to sulk, the way he tracked his man back for the goal today said it all, not seen a slow jog back like that since the days of Lundstram. Drop him next game and put Brooks in his place at least we know Brooks will try.

He’s 20 and one of the brightest prospects we have as a club. Certainly one of the best centre midfielders who has come through the club in the 35+ years I’ve been watching them.

We need to try and manage him and get the best out of him.

It means he was a player who hadn't played for almost two years and understandably found it too much. Not really his fault that he's thrust into the starting XI due the complete fuck witedness of our off-season campaign, when he probably thought he'd be spending the first half of the season finding his feet again

Blaming him and saying it was "embarrassing" shows the absolute ignorance of our fan base.

As of tonight they have played exactly the same number of professional games. There are quite a few differences between them as players, but in particular Arblaster provides goals and assists and moves us forward quickly. Peck doesn’t do any of those, although it’s possible he may do in future. If Arblaster returns anything like he was before the injury he will be considerably ahead of Peck.

I’ve relayed this story on here before but amate of mine sat next to him on the train when he moved up from London to Sheffield. Said he had a massive bag and it was taking up a seat in first class so he asked him to move it. Got talking to him and he told my mate that he’d be playing in the PL within a few years. Confident lad obviously, but I’m sure we can all knock that out of him soon can’t we Blades?!
