What we knew in pre season has borne out first half. They are walking through the middle and we are susceptible to the break. Twine goal unprofessional from Hamer giving away that free kick. It was a great free kick but after Nice why isnt Cooper wearing a cap. We get back into the game with a good goal look on top and again we get done on the break. Bindon was poor letting his man get past him RND just too slow.

Going forward very good and their keeper has pulled off some good saves. Defensively a shambles every time they break forward they look like scoring thats what happens when you dont invest at CB.

Going to be a long season if we dont sort out the defence no matter how good we look going forward. If JLT isnt fit rather have young Dovy on for RND who isnt going to last the game and BC have pacy forwards to bring off the bench.

But for those that wanted entertaining, we are sure getting that. Even if we go down on 6 points, its gonna damn high scoring games.

But dont forget there's still plenty of transfer window left. Just some other teams think it's better to be ready from game 1. Fucking idiots

Hamer at fault for both. Silly free kick to give away, and then didn't track back properly. He got there in the end but could have cut out the pass across the box.

We do look good in their half but the defence isn't up to it and needs a lot more support.

First ten minutes were awful and frustrating that Hamer gave them that free kick, with Twine being an excellent shooter.

After that we've been good. Some great combinations and we've managed to create despite them defending deep with a back five. We should have scored more than once. A shame with that second goal from the counter attack. Need to see it again, but we seemed too slow to get back. We may need fast defenders for this playing style, players with physique and pace to hold their own against runners. If full backs are too far forward, midfielders need to fill in better.

Well this looks like it's going to be fun. Would like to see Sydie on Corners, for whatever reason Gus, never seems to cause that much trouble.

Very entertaining and encouraging performance offensively. Barry especially showing some real threat.

The defensive issues are obvious, and will likely be heavily addressed by moves in the transfer market. However, two major issues:

  • Every Tom, Dick and Harry knows how big if a threat Scott Twine is from free kicks. Sky have harped on about it. So we will definitely have known. So why Hamer has been so fucking brainless as to dive in on the edge of his own box, only he can know. But it's thrown us behind immediately and having to chase the game.
  • Peck will not cut the mustard in this role. He's left the 2 CBs exposed whenever Brizzle have come forward, which has helped to cost us 2 goals. Soumarè will likely assume that role in time, but I wouldn't be surprised if he comes on for the 2nd half.

I really hope the owners are watching this, it might give them a little focus. Christ you've got to give credit to Bristol city they certainly are putting away their chances

Playing RND at CB has cost us the match a decent CB in there and we win this game simple as really one wonder goal from a free kick not much we can do about that but then both goals after RND no where near the ball

If they know anything about football
