Yep. Was going to say we routinely give up on the first few games of the season with poor recruitment decisions.

It’s probably still 1-0 to us with 2 solid centrebacks.

At least we look more threatening in an attacking sense. We have looked dangerous and like we’d be able to be a threat for a change.

Might be being too harsh but RND should have got that out initially. Slow to react for me.

I'd switch to 4231 at half time, defence is poor and Peck isn't doing enough to help on his own. I'd put Soumare on for Brooks to allow Hamer and Ohare to get further forward.

Defence needs sorting as we are dominating movement is slick and their keeper making several saves eleven corners already but defence looks like a colander

RND isn't going to play more than 5 games, absolute max, in that position. I'm not worrying about the defence too much today.

I’m sat in BLU & a few things stand out. We look really, really poor at the back. Seriki & Brooks don’t look interested. Some of least seasons problems persist. Too slow at times & we get bullied &/or cough up possession too easily. On the positive side BCs goal has led a charmed life. We’ve had about 3 attempts narrowly deflected wide for starters. Great movement for the goal as well. Conclusion? Defence going to cost us. Needs sorting asap.

we are losing, fair play to Bristol city 2 chances 2 goals, clinical. but im quite pleased with that half. we could easily be leading but for great saves from their GK & last ditch defending that stopped at least a 2nd maybe a 3rd with a few tap ins.

Really enjoying the attacking intent, but we’ve shot ourselves in the foot by selling Anel and not having a replacement lined up. The defence looks fragile.

To be honest that's exactly how I thought this game would go, with us looking really good going forward, but too open at the back, I didn't expect them to be so clinical with their chances. We obviously need several defenders through the door before the window shuts, or every game will be a toss up who wins

Thought we played well defence was pulled apart at times but hopefully RND won't be near the CB position again after this match and then hopefully start looking a bit better at the back. Going forward we look a real threat and unlucky not to have scored more than one goal really. Barry could have had one peck should have got one be interesting to see what happens the second half and what impact the subs make can see cannon and Ryan one coming on at some point.

Entertaining first half.

We're good going forward but far too wasteful. Barry needs to make better decisions, but also use the overlapping run of Burrows sometimes. Corners are pointless as we have no big men. Some nice interchanges. At the back though, it's a mess. There is zero cover for the defence. Peck wanders off up the pitch, we lose the ball and there's no cover. We can't play Hamer and O'Hare both there as well. One or the other. Both Peck and Hamer are too wasteful on the ball and doing that from deep is worrying.
