Not necessarily, they have recently appointed an ex Microsoft executive as chief commercial officer existing revenues and an ex Facebook/Meta executive as chief commercial officer new revenues. Both have extensive digital advertising expertise and will build their US exposure through Tom Brady. I believe their CEO has been quoted as saying they will generate revenue on a par with the clubs receiving parachute payments.

He makes a hell of a lot of sense for us in terms of profile and our links to City. Unfortunately he’s also spent time at Leicester and Norwich in the past.

I’d be surprised if it’s not a direct sale for Doyle this summer he’s openly said he wants out and is fed up of loans and City have turned down 6.5 million for him from the Bundesliga this summer so I think you’ll probably have to get close to the 10 million asking price to get him.

I get youre being facetious, but I wouldn't have just had my targets lined up before letting Anel go, I would have had my main replacement in place, if not already through the door.
Maybe its all but done already though, who knows.

Im not sure what you mean.
But in regards to money and value, clubs know we have some now and with 3 days left before the season starts they know we're starting to get desperate. That's how you also end up over paying.

I assume you mean a Prem target is going to be told he's allowed to leave? But would it have hurt to have kept Anel another week before asking that players club?

Yeah that's true just that I cant see any of those 3 teams spending that money

Even if £10m is slightly inflated he’s a player to build a defence around. Being left footed he also ticks a lot of boxes while leaving space next to him for a long term partner to be brought or developed for a future date.
