They are a strange bunch. It's like they understand that £1,000 is (in general) a lot of money, but they can't comprehend that £1,000 is a drop in the ocean to them and would make absolutely no difference to their life.

I recently had a client that added a ridiculous piece of "art" worth £200k to their insurance portfolio and in the same email notifying me they wish to claim for a lost iPhone worth about £700. Make it make sense!
