Will probably get pelters for this, but fair play to Oli Mac. He's a hundred times more charismatic than 99% of footballer. Always good value when doing media.

Hope this now means we're in for another statement signing to replace Moore. Doesn't have to be expensive, but of the same pedigree as Barry or Soumaré and we'll be well set.

i dont mind mcburnie going to Hull. because realistically he fighting to be 3rd choice with onè & at Hull i guess he will be 1st choice & he hasnt come back to sit on the bench

Did he only sign a 1 year deal at Las Palmas? Only signed last summer and left on a free?
Relegation release clause.

Fair play to the lad he’s gone where is best for his career and he doesn’t owe us anything. I’d have like to have signed him back for free but the contract he’s got should have been out of our reach.

Be interesting what reaction Lundstam gets when Hull visit the Lane. The blokes about as popular as a turd in a swimming pool.

What always amazed me was the number of Blades fans on here who were initially consistent with their defending of 'Good ol Lunny' for a period of time even when it was clear to anyone with a hole in their arse that he was phoning it in and taking the proverbial. Even then we had some who couldn't entertain any criticism of him. It probably took them about a quarter of the season before they finally came round to the same thinking as the vast majority of us. Some people are just more gullible than others I suppose.

Very disappointed at "the Lads" who went through so much together at the Blades being involved in a video making out that Hull pulled off a signing under our noses.
Just shows that players are as fickle as fans sometimes.

Part of the biggest waste of money era under Wilder.
Remember he arrived as a goal scorer but was anything but that.
Same with Brewster.
He blew Brewster out of the water . But then again so did Captain Blade tbh

Quite a fall from grace from being with us in the top flight to supposedly being linked eith Wolves and West Ham to getting a good move to La Liga.

A year later and he signs for Hull. Obviously fair play if he got a decent contract but expect he joins many of the other ex Blades from that era that career trajectory is definitely pointing down the pyramid now...much like the two he has joined there. I expect all 3 of them to be League 1/2 within the next 2 years maximum.

Think we were right not to bring him back. A personality no doubt and quite liked his character despite some mistakes but as a footballer we needed to.move on. Decent link.player and tried hard but like Moore was too slow, took too long to execute simple skills and did not score enough goals with a pitifully weak shot. His fitness record over his career has been patchy too.

Think it speaks volumes that he ended up at the side that will probably finish lowest of the 4 linked with him.

Can't believe the number of people on here who would have put him 3rd choice behind Cannon. 🤣

McBurnie is 10 times the player that Cannon will ever be.
We won't be playing the same style as we did under Wilder. Give Cannon a chance to see if Selles style suits him.

McBurnie League 1 within 2 years!! Why, what's he going to do - lose his pace?

He's completely in his prime now and Hull have done very well to get him. He'll score more goals than any of our forwards this season as long as he starts 30+ games

Having the other ex Blades there will also serve them well. Between them they've basically done it all, for the sort of level Hull are at

Hull will win the league
