I don't think Caceres and Ukaki will be going out on loan. Ukaki is a potential starter and they've both done enough to at least feature on the bench.

Ukaki definitely, less sure about Caceres at this stage. Watching Ukaki groin confidence has been one of the big pluses of pre season and I think there is plenty more to come from him.I don't think Caceres and Ukaki will be going out on loan. Why ?I reckon its worth trying to get a bet on him to be first manager sacked this season.
I’m sure that’s the case. I expect that only happens when you’re rimming a sheep. No ammount of happy clapping can pull the wool over my eyes.
There's an unfortunate typo in that, if not then I'm not one to judge.Ukaki definitely, less sure about Caceres at this stage. Watching Ukaki groin confidence has been one of the big pluses of pre season and I think there is plenty more to come from him.
Despite his goal today, I don’t think Caceres affects games enough. Which isn’t to say that he won’t in time, But a loan until January might not be a bad thing for him.

Maybe he's the longest in the shower.growing in![]()
When did we last finish 8th in the Chsmpionship? It's going as expected, no signings of anyone who has made an impact at this level before, and none on the horizon. I'm predicting a return to our natural home of 8th in the Championship.

There's a huge Souttar sized hole at CB which needs filling by a commanding leader of the defence , who should also be team captain materialWith just 16 days to go til the start of the new season, how's everyone feeling?
On a positive note we've only lost Souza so far in terms of players we would have liked to keep, and Brewster thankfully hasn't signed a contract (but worryingly hasn't signed elsewhere yet either). Currently Cooper, Burrows, Anel, Hamer, Peck and Campbell all still here (not saying they will be by close of window - but its encouraging)
Bindon should be a good addition at the back and Barry should offer something on the left - though if Hamer goes we'll be lacking competition down both flanks as Brooks hasn't got anyone to contend with either. Right-back seems a weak point currently (Seriki has looked good on occasion but I don't feel good relying purely on him) along with a big Souza shaped hole. If we're wanting to play 2 up front at all then really Campbell, Moore, Cannon and Oné seems slim pickings, especially factoring in the need for subs as Campbell and Moore tire quite easily.
So my shopping list is:
Souza replacement (Soumaré sounds imminent?)
Right back
Right wing competition for Brooks
Quality Forward (preferably two but doubt thats realistic)
And if Hamer goes - a top class creative mid.
So in summary - it could be worse in terms of departures - but there's still a fair bit of recruitment to be done and it's starting to feel a little late. A marquee signing in the next week will do a lot to settle my nerves.
The premier league is shit, but financially we need it like a Dixon Lane tramp needs another bottle of Frosty Jacks…Looking forward to seeing some fun, competitive football. Premier league is shite so promotion is meh.
Just win more games than we lose please blades.
Erm…sorry to break it to you, but it was.Not bad thanks. Went to a funeral yesterday. On the bright side it wasn't my own.
The thought of Phil Parkinson managing in the prem is hilarious and horrifying in equal measure. The thing people who are predicting great success for Wrexham is, well…., Phil Parkinson.
It is.Sad ending to his Blades career then

Becoming a ghost is kind of appealing. It appeals to my sense of mischief.Erm…sorry to break it to you, but it was.
It’s kind of a modern day version of the Roger Moore film The Man Who Haunted Himself…
Sorry KMC, but promotion is the aim if for nothing more than the dosh they dish out.
Personally i don't see us going up. The way we are setting up leaves wide open and although we will win more than we lose we will get nowhere near last seasons total.
Preseason has been fun for a change, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this approach goes—definitely holding off commenting on actual progress of the changes (not individual matches!) until after the Southampton match at the end of September, as we really need to give everything time to bed in first. Here's hoping.know we haven't beaten anybody of note but im quite optimistic under selles the style is more attacking and on the front foot than wilders which probably means conceding more but scoring more than wilders system and has to be a more entertaining style of football

Thank you.And they say that the English language is dying. So poetic, it brought a tear to my eye.
Agree with all of that, but I do think we can be top 6 Christmas and the owners will back us in JTW for a top 2 push.I'm feeling the same now as I did at the end of the season and before Selles was announced. That we will finish top six again but not get automatic promotion. We won't get close to 92 points again as we didn't really deserve 92 last season with the way we played all season, but I'm expecting the matches to be more entertaining to watch, win, lose or draw..... and I'm fine with all of this.
BBD was a pointless, needless signing. He offered nothing. JRS hit and miss.Replacing BBD & JRS with Ukakikook and the Peruvian Jeff
