Combining the two starting 11's from tonight, this is our strongest 11 from those 2 lineups (IMO).

----------------Cooper
Seriki-Anel-Bindon-Burrows
---O'Hare--Blacker--Hamer
Brooks---Campbell--Cannon

Oné and Marsh look like strong contenders for the bench at the moment.

For me, Blackers inclusion highlights the need for a defensive midfielder to protect that back 4, could Peck potentially play there or do we need a new CDM?

We never played (started) Seriki behind Brooks on the right last season. Encouraging that Selles tried that combination in his first match.

Peck, Davies and Blaster. I get the feeling we won't play with a DM but instead the CMs will press and hold depending on where the ball is. I don't think any of those three would be a DM but could see all 3 playing the role well, with licence to press forward

Out of interest what was the formation in each half?

Blaster would be a good shout, not as a DM but more like how Norwood used to play, sitting deep and dictating play, especially with O'Hare and Hamer playing as two 8's.
