Were you involved in setting his targets for this season and beyond? Impressive!
Setting his targets?….you mean, target, I hope.

We absolutely have a much healthier squad to start with than last summer.Last summer our first signing (Shackleton) was on the 4th July, with a manager who already knew the current squad and what positions needed strengthening.
Selles has only just met the players yesterday and will need time to assess the squad, so we might end up missing a few targets at first (not that there has been much business already) but the better players might not be available until later in the window.
We'll just have to wait and see.
Its not so much the style or lack of attacking intent for me it's the way the side didn't look like it had been coached and had no control or way of controlling different moments in the gameI didn't want to carry on watching it either ideally but if it's style (and goalscoring) we're concerned about I'm not sure Sellés is an obvious choice
That's tempering expectation Rodley but I agree that no one wants saggy balls.I’ll just be thankful for a seat and that the balls are correctly inflated. Anything else is a bonus.
I agree, he has arguably got an excellent platform to build on.Sometimes I can’t fathom Unitedites. He’s got arguably the best platform to build on as a manager since Bryan Robson.

Its not likely at allI agree, he has arguably got an excellent platform to build on.
But how many of that excellent platform will still be here when the window closes?
It's likely Hamer will go, and Burrows, and/or Cooper or even Peck.
I hope not but wouldn't put it past us selling them. All depends on the new owners approach I suppose. That and who is brought in.
Time will tell. Its not likely at all
Sorry - if we don’t go up this season - with no more parachute payments we will become the next Norwich / West Brom.Change of owners, manager, staff, doubtless in the playing side too to come.
My expectations - to miss out on promotion this season with a serious bash at it the following season.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the new structure pans out.
I think you will be lost for words by mid July couple of reight statement signingsI think I ( and by the looks of it most of the fanbase )
Have read between the lines and assumed we were going to keep the nucleus of the squad together and add maybe half a dozen quality additions in areas we were short last season
I'm getting the vibe now that with tge profile of player we are being linked with and the lack of activity with the dore training ground that we are entering a period of cloth cutting and targeting cheap young lower league players who I assume are scoring high data wise and will be seen as future assets
Listening to the ntt20 boys yesterday and they summed up perfectly their view on the owners who seem to have gone all in on this risky strategy at the wrong time when maybe sticking with what. We had might have been the safer bet
I was all for Wilder going and selles coming in ,hopefully the fitness levels improve and I think the squad is crying out for a coach to come in and take them to another level
But I think signings wise the highest profile player we are being linked with is Ashley Phillips and I think.all this talk of Barry, brooks ,doyle ect is just fans hoping, it doesnt look like they are the profile of player we are in for and I think that is a very all in strategy and makes me very nervous but excited

Customer Care Executives get my pie and peas order rightI’ll just be thankful for a seat and that the balls are correctly inflated. Anything else is a bonus.
Better then your faith, in a magnetic ludo champion and Captain Abraham tuna trawler. The current topic is getting very complicated.
Just put your faith in Ruben and a poker player with a laptop buying our success !
I don’t think this is what Frank the tank is doing but you can set your watch by some of our fans starting to panic about the lack of signings before Independence Day.
It does feel that way. A longer term strategy though when we're £40m down next season if we don't go up? They need to wobble their headsThat's my point though im not sure that is the target his employers have set him
Maybe a longer term trade up strategy is their aim but maybe this season isn't the best time to.do that
