Bit uninspiring. Also linked with a Bulgarian right back (I’m not kidding!). Brian Tinnion linked as Director of Football.

The bit a about tinnion as dof is interesting and that selles is a candidate but the Ai link just makes the whole article reek of bullshit

I’d worry about a manager with 18 months experience, none in the Champ. Surely Cooper is the man?
I think of all the candidates selles is my favourite did a great job at reading and hull looked really impressive at the lane as a one off example exactly how I'd like us to play
He wasnt great at Southampton though but I think he might be a good fit to take over a squad that lacks fluidity

Sacked at Hull, Reading and Soton. Has he got enough wool on his back? Seems a one and out international type manager. I’d rather Rohl if we go down that route.

Thought he did well at Reading? Got them in the playoffs despite being absolutely hamstrung to fuck.

Yep he got them to 6th in League 1. I’d hope we can get better.
Think he is highly regarded and wasn't sacked at reading who were in dire straits when he was tgere and playing mostly kids ,hull is a basket case of a club and was thrown in at Premier league level at Southampton
I have to admit I dont know a lot about him aside from hearing people like the not the top twenty guys speaking very highly of him and being impressed by the style of play his side played at the lane
.
They looked well coached, which is what I think we need otherwise we may as well stick with wilder

Why are people gutless?

Anybody wanting Wilder out is deluded. The club is where it is now, purely down to Wilder. 3rd division, for 6 years, under numerous managers. Wilder comes in, wheels and deals, gets us to 9th in the Premier and still people moan. Of course makes mistakes. Pep Guardiola makes mistakes, doesn't make him a bad manager. Be careful what you wish for ⚔️

If they go down this AI route for recruitment, this says to me Wilder will be on his way.
I have watched United since 1971, all different types of managers.
It is becoming more of a science now.

Why deluded? People have raised valid and fair concerns about his transfers, playing players out of position, his negative tactics, picking his favourites, and that we were crap and disjointed for most of last season regardless of result.

Seperate the manager from the supporter and seperate the past from the present.

The only delusion I can see is people who can't see any flaws in Wilder as a manager because they can't get past "he's one of our own."

There's nothing deluded about people raising concerns about him given that he is an inferior version of the one who first came to us.

Primarily, because it makes sense to hold your nerves with a manager who got you promoted twice and who would have done it again had it been for two exceptional teams getting 200 points and one debatable VAR decision.
Good bit of glossing over the performances there bud. Akin to Russias PR team.

You're also right that we are where we are now thanks to him. If he had recruited better over two seasons in the Premier League and replaced some players instead of remaining loyal to them then perhaps we wouldn't have been relegated the second season. All the others teams strengthened their teams, we strengthened our squad with inferior players. When Wilder's favourites lost form or got injured he had no one decent to call upon. So yes, we are where we are now thanks to Wilder.

Anyone can flip a narrative to suit their own argument. So that's not being delusional.

🤣 What's different? More expectation. MASSIVE delusions of grandeur? If the jobs that easy, apply yourself 🤣⚔️

🤣 Oh do give over
“But for a VAR decision” aye, nothing to do with dropping deeper than the Mariana Trench for 30 minutes 😂 let’s be honest though. If he’d not bottled three games (two against bottom teams, one against an inferior one) we’d probably not be talking about us bottling the final 🤔

Wilder has more experience at PL level. We need better than O’Neill IMHO, he’s not someone to establish us in the Premier League.
He kept Bournemouth up though to be fair, Wilder has experience of the PL that stretches to vastly overpaying for youth products, whilst spitting the dummy out as we’re going down. Granted he got us to 9th in a freak COVID season.
