It's a punt, so we'll see .

My main concern is around the physical aspects of English football. Both in terms of conditioning/stamina and fitness/workrate. Especially coming from leagues where this is nowhere near the EFL.

Chuffing hell, AI found the play, AI wrote the quote... 😂

On the signing, boss Chris Wilder commented: "Ehije is a player who has been identified through our data driven strategy and is someone we're looking forward to developing."
Dunt sound very enthusiastic. Wilder will develop all the AI players by getting them to build the new facilities in Dore.

We need to follow Brighton/Brentford with their scouting - we do that:
"Wilder will never give them a game"
"They aren't good enough"
"Seen them in U21s and he's not good enough"

Brighton/Brentford usually take 18 months to bed in and be given games...

Honestly we bloody love a moan at the lane

We could be having a conversation about matchday catering and the same old characters would be blaming Wilder.
To bloody right i would.
Since he walked out the back door the catering has gone down hill.
They are slow to serve you and just pass your order backwards or sideways to some other team member before they pass it forward to you.
We need pace and athleticism behind the kiosks.

Got to give it time for germs to settle

From Wyscout data iin the Bulgarian league hes a good dribbler and creates shots for himself. Obviously the AI scouting system will have access to more datapoints of metrics that aren't easily quantifiable but at least some stats say hes good at something!View attachment 213212
Trying to interpret these stats:
"He's a high intensity pressing dwarf winger, who can dribble very well but goes nowhere with it (Jamal Campbell Ryce?). He's got a decent shot on him, but never ever creates chances for his team mates"

Harder than it looks this data led approach 😂

I would imagine an unscrupulous club from a gangster state could manipulate a players data to suggest he's better than he actually is. Then along comes an AI recruitment team that falls straight into the trap, again.
Think diesel emissions

I’m all for these signings, if only because it’s interesting and it’s not much money. However. We’ve signed 3 of them now and they’re all wingers. We should be signing in positions were our youth teams are weak, not just whoever’s the best players that the data throws up.

i am looking forward to see these 3 in action Jefferson Cáceres, Christian Nwachukwu & Ehije Ukaki. Just to see if we have found some hidden gems. i did use Chat GPT to compare these 3 relatively unknown players to past sheffield players

I think we need to focus on workrate...

Another one who Wilder knows nothing about, to go with the other 2 who will never play a game for us.

I mean we’ve not really played with out and out wingers in the youth set ups since Wilder came in first time round. And there aren’t any wingers waiting in the wings in the 21’s so it does make sense. Brooks looks like he might play wide as a senior but was a CM for the 21’s and Seriki was a winger when signed for the academy but we converted him into a fullback. Outside that you’re struggling maybe Marsh could move outside and play wide but he’s not really done that for the 21’s

Only 5ft 9.. I’d be quite keen on seeing what the search parameters are on the system. Not a dig, just curious as to how it’s picked two players from the same squad, of the same nationality.

We do have height restrictions on much of our Crab Industries gym equipment apparently. Anything under 5ft 8 or over 5ft 7 is a no no.
