If you could go to one old stadium to watch us play away

It's still there but seeing as it's not used for English games anymore, the Millennium Stadium (now called Principality). Always thought it looked incredible on TV and the noise always sounded more impressive than Wembley (especially when the roof is closed)

Ayersone Park - season they went up under Pissrobson think it was Easter Monday my mate through work got us two tickets in their main stand - he couldn’t go so I went on my own
Sat in the middle a mob of theirs
- never said a word clapped when they scored did nowt when we did think it ended 1-1 but sure someone on here will put that right

Wigan. To do roly polys down the grass bank.
I slipped over on that grass / mud bank pissed it down the whole game evening match. One I always hated was Rotherham away millmoor unless you were 4 ft and 6 stone how the he'll could you sit in them seats.. stewards giving it the siddarrn yeah ok mate but I'll need a wheelchair to help me back to the car.

I remember Roker Park think it was Petet Reids 1st game in charge I think we lost 1-0 baltic away end was packed but bloody freezing

There's a few that I'd have loved to go to. But I'll probably say Boothferry Park.

I've been to Hull's current ground, so it'd be nice to see what they upgraded from.

Similarly with Donny. Been to see a Rovers game at the Keepmoat once (Danny Cadamarteri played for them that day, so you can figure out how long ago that was), and I'd be interested to know how big of an improvement it was from Bell View (Or however it was spelled).
Belle Vue was basically same as Millmoor, standard lower league mostly terraced stands but I preferred it to the Keepmoat (or whatever Donny’s ground is called now).

Facilities were crap and you could see why the new ground was needed, but I like the old school grounds.

Which would it be?

I’d choose Highbury. I really liked the stadium and the whole area really. Another stadium bang in the middle of terraced housing

My lad would like to go to Maine Road, but that’s because his City mates bang on about it, even though none of them have ever been and definitely never been in that war pen that they put us away fans in

You?
Southbury Road. When I couldn’t get to Bramall Lane as a kid I’d go there to watch Enfield. Some good memories. Got demolished and a cinema built on it.

And bang in the town centre next to boozers! 👌😁

Had a few rows with Hull at the old ground

Likewise, hotels aren’t cheap in Liverpool that night 😳
I've noticed hotels in Liverpool are always expensive. They have lots of 4 star hotels on the waterfront and in the city centre. Then a couple of Premier Inns. After booking the concert tickets the hotels started booking out. That's dropped off now. They have vacancies but still pricey.

Been the same for a few years now. As a regular at weekend events the hotels are never cheap. Even in trendy bars though, cheaper than Sheffield.

I visited once non-football related at Easter a few years ago. Pubs were rammed. The city centre was buzzing. There's a lot to see to be fair. Museums, waterfront, musical heritage. Obviously gets lots of visitors.

I used to love White Hart Lane. A big stadium but still tightly packed and close to the pitch

Fjortoft for them, Nathan Blake for us - pissed it down if I recall

Was that the game when their striker went through, shot and Tracey saved it at the edge of the area but it looped up and into the goal?

You don't get to have your birthday party on the 5-side pitch behind the goal at new grounds

Belle Vue, Doncaster. The home fans used to walk round at half time from the terrace behind the goal they were attacking to the terrace behind the other goal. Some of them had their dog with them.
In 1987 the away end was basically a cage in the middle of a crumbling terrace, delighted I managed to get that one on the "done list".

As others have said, Filbert Street on that day
Was a really dodgy venue, on one of my visits, the local plod used to keep a double decker bus outside as a mobile cell, once there was enough incumbents on board it would ship them down to the local nick for processing.

I was at Highbury in 2005 for our 1-1 draw in the Warnock era, I was looking back on their team although they some would have been young then we were up against Ljungberg, Fabregas, Flamini, Bergkamp (sent off) and Van Persie amongst others, and that simply the best orange HFS loans away shirt (it's between that or the classic yellow for me)

But to answer the OP for the randomness of it Estádio Municipal de Braga
