In terms of ability it would be a no brainer, Harry Maguire has been made a scapegoat at Old Trafford the way he has been treated is shameful.Manure rate him at 50 million pounds. I think they are deluded. A few years ago maybe, but now... No. Any thoughts? And the question was asked a while ago, would we have him back? Based on his ability, forget wages, fees etc, strictly ability.

Basically wrote the same at the same time ha ha.In terms of ability it would be a no brainer, Harry Maguire has been made a scapegoat at Old Trafford the way he has been treated is shameful.
Great minds think a likeBasically wrote the same at the same time ha ha.
Others have already answered it. Scapegoated and lost form because of it. He'd walk I to our side IMO.Ok...his age, lack of speed, poor form doesn't bother your decision
Maguire, realistically, walks into every PL side except Arsenal, City and Man U.Others have already answered it. Scapegoated and lost form because of it. He'd walk I to our side IMO.
Agree. He wilted under the pressure of being under the microscope, it's understandable. Still a good defender with a reliable ping.Maguire, realistically, walks into every PL side except Arsenal, City and Man U.
The question i posed was does anyone still rate him at 50 milCan’t afford him - end of tth
We should go for him. Can’t afford him - end of thread
A cooked Walker would still be better than anyone else that we could signMaguire might hypothetically do a good job for us but I genuinely think that Walker is absolutely cooked.
Exactly this. We’re not getting either of them back. Both on silly wages.
Don’t get the obsession with signing old players just move on
Exactly this.
As much as I love Dean Henderson I wouldn't have him back at this juncture.
No doubt.A cooked Walker would still be better than anyone else that we could sign
If Cooper keeps the standards he has set going into the prem, we won’t need Hendo because Cooper will be just as goodExactly this.

It depends what you call reasonable wages though.Don't get the obsession with not signing players because they played for us once before. If they're better than what we have and want to come on reasonable wages then why wouldn't you?
It’s a mindset thing and it sums up why we can’t progress as a club.Don't get the obsession with not signing players because they played for us once before. If they're better than what we have and want to come on reasonable wages then why wouldn't you?
Of course, if they want six figures weekly its a non-starter. The club know what reasonable wages are in the context of our budget. It depends what you call reasonable wages though.
Worrying about that kind of shit will stop you progressing. The only question is are they good enough to improve on what we have. Anything else is astrology for football fans. It’s a mindset thing and it sums up why we can’t progress as a club.
The players have left and don’t owe us anything. Likewise we don’t owe them anything if they try to pick up an easy wage in a few years based off fan nostalgia
