Harry Souttar is

After couliby missed his ball wnd Gilcrest left his left flank wide open ball watching.

Credit here it’s due

Think that's harsh on Gilchrist who was necessarily marking Fletcher. There's only a split second where Fletcher stops being the main threat and he might have moved over to pick up the left back. It's not his fault they got an overload on the left - we should have had someone tracking back.

The hair on the mush. Beautiful. Love him all ready. Giiiitttt up Harry.

I think the most polite way of describing the haircut is interesting . I never thought I’d see someone cross a mohican and a mullet but each to their own I suppose .

However , putting aside his tonsorial preferences , it was great to see him put in such a commanding and committed performance last night . It was reminiscent of a prime Chris Morgan with extras and that can’t be a bad thing .

His hair is magnificent. Don't know about his tonsils? Great showing from him last night.

Anel Souttar sounds too much like anal fissure for me. And for that reason, I'm out.

Was too slow for a photo, but he looked hilarious stood next to Stroud and one of theirs... I think his waist was half way up Stroud's shoulder.

Moments after… Souttar is further away than the others in the shot.

Always thought Fletcher was a "big unit" until I saw him next to Souttar at the end last night. Most players who creep over the 6 foot 2 or 3 barrier are beanpoles (see: Peter Crouch). Souttar is 6 foot 7 and built like a brick shithouse. Absolute unit of a man. Could end up being signing of the season. Get him in the first team for league games and watch opposition defences shit themselves every time we get a corner.

Shame I don't really see a way to have him and JLT in the same side, as he would be a real asset if we had long throws coming in.

The point has been made before, but for such a big bloke, his scoring record at club level is poor, and better when he plays for Oz. I could imagine he just causes havoc at corners, with team mates reaping the benefits of knock downs.

What I really liked was his accurate and controlled passing out of defence, he isn’t a hoof merchant.

There’s a realistic chance that we’ll see a Sheffield United side this season containing Souttar, Robinson, Vini Souza & Moore. Not a side in the league with compete with us physically.

Souttar is a Goliath of a centre half - something we’ve not seen at the lane since a young Harry Maguire donned the Blades shirt. Exciting.
As side that no team can compete with physically, and also a side that teams can't handle technically. Seems to be where we're heading.

No , he looked very comfortable on the ball and gave out some nice crisp passes .

thought he was great last night ,he won everything in the air just what we needed plus he set up a goal with his nut

Ever since JoC I've been hoping for a physically dominant CB and we've finally got one.
Surely he will be the first CB on the team sheet whether we play a 2 or a 3 - he won't have come on loan to not play.
Same for Gilchrist but he has 2 slots to aim for , RB & CB.
Love Robbo to bits but he's just a tad too short , same with RND.
Trusty for £6m seems a bad buy ATM but hopefully he can develop.
Wonder how Anel will react ?
Whatever happens , we do seem to have better potential in defence for this Championship season than we had in the PL.

I'm not saying Souttar is tall, but the Ref only came up to the top of his socks.

To say that there is only a couple of inches height difference between him and Grbic, he seems so much bigger.
