The exhumed body of John Torrington, who was part of the crew onboard HMS Terror and who perished around 1846. This chap was buried in 5' of permafrost and as you can see is pretty well preserved. Anyway, a very interesting story including cannibalism and desperation. I've attached a link to a small story about it, well worth ten minutes if you've nowt else to do.

The Story Behind The 1845 Shipwreck Of A Doomed Arctic Expedition That Ended In Cannibalism

When the 170-year-old ship was finally found in 80 feet of water, it was nearly intact — raising more questions than answers.
