I can't make any game (unless it starts about 21.30) on Mondays and I'm not in the country for the final.

It is tiring seeing people giving shit to others for not going for whatever reason though, I think some fans have forgotten that it's a choice to support the club, not mandatory. Some stuck up arseholes in our fan base when it comes to "bigger blade".

If anyone was on the fence and not impressed with the ticketing price, I'm sure that result will have made their minds up.

If people aren’t impressed with a £31 ticket price then they might as well find something else to spend their money on.

Like it or not, it’s the going rate for a football match these days and it’s not going to get cheaper.

Now is the time to get behind the players, management and possibly most important the new owners.

Again sad act, for someone who reckons he’s under my skin, it’s you following me around the forum. How does that work?

To confuse you even more, someone posts this could be the end due to possible home attendance and you bring up Ashton Gate. Where’s the relevance?

FYI l’ve posted why l don’t get to many away games these days. Briefly though. Unlike your good self and your private life l don’t report daily.

Any more enthralling stories about, say a Morrisons breakfast? 😀

Another reaction.

Fucking brilliant though. Whilst I was watching the Blades at Ashton Gate you was busy responding to me. At about 9.41 I was watching Andre Brooks scoring the second. At the same time you was posting that angry response. Missing out on watching a superb Blades performance, just to obsess about me posting a jokey remark about having a Morrisons Breakfast.

Different levels to this game son.

Lads deserve a full house Monday though..brilliant performance tonight.

Must increase the chance of a celebratory atmosphere though. We got over 30k for the Blackburn game. You’d hope for similar.

Could go either way. Same with Bristol City. Either they won’t want to miss an amazing Play Off comeback or they simply think the first leg has made it an uphill climb.

I’ve fought our corner all season when my piggy mates have tried to take the piss out of our fanbase…. but I’m waving the white flag if the numbers turn out to be as poor as predicted 🙈
This all over, I hate Wednesday as much as we all do. But they’d be sold out home & Wembley regardless of previous results if they were us.

I hate to see play off finals where one team has barely sold out their allocation. I actually worry that could be us this time which is a shame because we’re not Luton with 10-15k home attendances. We sell nearly 28k every home game and sell out most away games, we should easily be selling Wembley out…but we won’t.

I've got my ticket to the home leg but I don't think I'll go to Wembley should we get there. It's a horrible experience and I don't think seeing us win there would prevent it being a shit day.
Can’t agree about the experience- it’s only the result that ever ruins it for me, so if we get there and win, I will have had a great day.
I know it’s designed to separate you from vast quantities of cash, but once you decide to do it, you have to go all in! I can understand not being able to afford it, but it’s a decent day out.

Yeh we don't have a leg to stand on really if we can't sell these games out which I like you fear we won't, you know we'll be at Wembley, one side packed with colour and then our side with blocks of empty seats, I won't care if we win but it would be nice to see it packed out . Imagine if we actually won and we had the stadium to ourselves players celebrating and were all singing the greasy chip butty for all the world to see . The club need to have there arse in gear with this and make it as easy as possible for blades to get tickets together rather than just one per person

And the lead 'culture carrier' is absolutely tone deaf to it too

Fact - Many people's Priorities don't include SUFC as they once might have

Lots of valid reasons why people can't attend on Monday but hopefully all that can, financially and logistically, will do.

We're in amazing shape but not there yet. The team deserve a good crowd behind them to get to the final hurdle.

Going tomorrow. Going on Monday, going to Wembley should we get there. I've got zero enthusiasm, but as ever will do my bit. And have a laugh with mates along the way, whatever the results. 👍
This is such a good take.

Personally I think next season in the Championship could be a belter. But if players and management want to have a go in the "Premier" League then they should get my support (they won't because I'm working Monday night, but it's the thought that counts).

That's what took me to Wembley for the Man City game; I had no real desire to see it, but wanted to support the club and the players.

I can't imagine this wholesome spirit of generosity surviving a single VAR violation but I've got a season ticket already so if we go up I'll have to bend over and take it and enjoy having paid for the privilege.

Up the Blades.

I’ll be at all 3 games, and wouldn’t miss them, however I totally understand people not going. The ££ in football is out control and it’s ludicrous that football teams can still charge what they charge amongst the backdrop of footballer’s salaries rising exponentially.

Also, while I’m at the game, I’m not looking round the ground with my fingers crossed that we’ve sold all the seats, I really couldn’t give a toss. When I’m at Wembley, I’m not there feeling gutted that we didn’t sell out, because who gives a shit.

Just focus on yourselves

My brother is a Wednesday season ticket holder and he was allowed up to 6 tickets.
His friends all bought 6 each and my brothers wife and daughter went to Wembley and they rarely ever go to Wednesday matches.

I’m in the same position as the Man City. I want 4 tickets all sat together…..2 are season ticket holders…..1 has been to about 5 matches this season….the other is my wife who has been to no matches this season.

Will be interesting to see if it is possible to buy 4 tickets.
Against Man City in the semi final it was strictly 1 ticket per person whereas Man City were allowed up to 4 tickets per person.
Also Sheff Utd had points restrictions so my wife couldn’t go….this was relaxed about 2 days before the match but it was too late by then.

I think there should always be a priority window for only season ticket holders so we get a better chance to get a seat in the area of the stadium we’d like to sit and at a price we want to pay.

It would be unfair if a season ticket holder is priced out of going to a big match because the day trippers have bought all the cheaper tickets and only the £100 tickets are left.

Agreed, I don’t think most people have that many issues with season ticket holders getting first dibs on tickets.

It’s an issue if season ticket holders can only buy one ticket because they want to buy for a day tripper to go with them but have to wait as said day tripper doesn’t have the requisite points - genuine question - which is fairer…

Allowing season ticket holders first dibs to get one each but not being able to buy for anyone else so potentially leading to them waiting until they can buy for someone else but then best seats are gone…

Or free for all where anyone could get whatever they want but some of the most loyal fans might miss out on best/cheaper/their preferred tickets.

Genuinely don’t know which is best.

I think one way this could be eased is that the ridiculous gaps between the windows should be lessened.

Season ticket holders/1 million loyalty points should get a day to grab their tickets.
Then maybe have 1 further day for those with lots of loyalty points down to more than let’s say 1000.

Then free for all.

I think like you say, it’s the slow and steady drop in points that is unnecessary, just have a day or two for season ticket holders, a day for members, a day for say 1k points, then go for the free for all.

Season ticket holders, members and those with a half decent amount of loyalty points deserve priority.

Jesus mate.
If we win a play off at Wembley, at last, it will be one of the best days ever in Blades history, and you still think that would be a shit day? What would your team have to do to make you happy?

It's nothing to do with the team. Wembley is a depressing concrete hellscape, I've never enjoyed the experience of being there, nor the journey. I've found my last few visits there genuinely harrowing.

EDIT: Not all my visits were for United games - this includes NFL games where I wasn't so nearly as invested.
