Doesn't matter where his foot is Goodman you silly twat. 2 arms all over Moore pulling him back = penalty and red card. Suck it up wanker.
It's this that made me chuckle at Goodman, he's blathering on about legs and feet whilst completely ignoring the arms of the defender hauling Moore to the ground! Twat.

1 million percent a penalty and a red card to boot. I don't make the rules , I just agree to with the ones I like 😏

Well, this should all be over now.

The chalked off goal was a little harsh but you can see why it was. Peck is active and he's blocking off a defender. Harsh but I reckon VAR gives that too.

Definite pen for foul on more. He grabs him but he hardly drags him to the floor. He did try and get round to the ball, but fouled man first. So def pen but red is a bit harsh. It's an orange card really, but those go either way.

Need pen by Burrows. We need to seal this now. 3:0 at least and then that's that.

Otherwise, it's been a bit scrappy but moving the ball forward quickly has caused them problems. We've been the more dangerous side.

Yes Goodman, you fucking melt. Dickie did touch the ball, but only after he'd garroted Moore, cut his lifeless body into pieces, put the pieces in a bag, put it in the boot of his car, drove to the Severn Bridge, hoyed it into the river and then drove back, after stopping off for petrol. THEN, his foot brushed the ball. Twat!

I think if that red is given against us we go ape shit. Penalty all day long but I thought should have been a yellow card. Big game like this penalty and yellow card would have been the correct decision, but do we care? Let's push on and get a couple more and take a demanding lead back to BDTBL

Not listening to Sky, but for Don's benefit...

The EFL "double jeopardy" rule prevents a player from being penalized with both a penalty kick and a red card for the same foul if the foul is deemed an attempt to play the ball. In other words, if a player makes a tackle within their own penalty area that denies an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, and the referee awards a penalty, the player is only cautioned (yellow card) if their action was an attempt to play the ball. If the tackle was not a genuine attempt to play the ball (e.g., holding, pushing), the player is sent off (red card).

Thought we were better team first half.

Agree with the offside and it was deffo a sending off the initial foul was the drag down.

Pretty much as solid a half of football as you’re gonna get in the play offs

Nicely tooked away penalty…..hard and low….giving their goalie no chance.

The commentator agrees with the pen but thinks it should have been a yellow….not a red.

To be honest…..it’s one of them….
Using common sense and in the spirit of the game give the defender the benefit and give him a yellow
However technically you can see why it was a red and I think most refs (who act likes robots) do give a red.

To be fair to the ref maybe he’s thinking our offside goal was a 50/50 decision and he gave it Bristol City
So regards the red card it’s another 50/50 decision….so he’s given it in Uniteds favour.
Hello Don, didn't know you were a member here

Also Peck having his shirt pulled before he moved to offside position , so why not a penalty given before offside, before the goal , shirt pull was first action j think

Did Peck sell the foul?

Last man cheerio time ⏲️

Wasn’t Goodman a striker back in the 1930s or whenever he was relevant?

Surely he’d be on the strikers side of the decision??

Then again, he’s absolutely clueless. He’s a great barometer to be fair, if you think the opposite of what Goodman thinks, you’re in the right! 🤣

He’s last man and pulls him back - that’s not a ‘genuine attempt to get the ball’ - red is the correct decision and fair play to the ref for giving it.

You can’t beat Prime TV football coverage. Gives you the option to mute the commentators and just listen to the crowd noise. Brilliant to shut up insufferable aresholes like Shearer, pity it’s not on Sky to shut up the gobshite Don ‘Calibos’ Goodman.

How can it be nothing but a red? The laws there's in black and white and he didn't make any sort of a genuine attempt for the ball.

Got to keep our heads and not give this ref any chance to "even things up". Another goal or two would be lovely.
Totally agree about keeping our heads.
Second half against 10 men and Dickie banned for the return leg. is a great advantage.
COME ON UNITED !!!
