Fully agree mate. Whether we do it or not, I'm fully behind this team and Wilder. Ultimately Burnley and Leeds were just slightly better than us. Had Arblaster and Souttar not got their injuries then I would have been confident for the top two. Onto the play offs now.

I like watching football, I love watching united, so to extend the season by 2/possibly 3 games and potentially watch my team do something they have never done before and potentially have the mother of all celebrations and piss ups I'm well up for it. The last 4000 failed attempts at the play offs mean nothing to this group of players, they can achieve something that this club as never done before. Sign me up...win lose or draw i will be back.

Given that just before last minute pre-season recruitment we looked to be facing a really tough season the actual outcome is far better than feared.

The frustration is that whereas we'd been effective rather than thrilling for the bulk of the season our form fell off a cliff just when it mattered.

But our pain at continual play off failure isn't shared by the players. They weren't here for them.

Wilder has the opportunity to achieve something his predecessors couldn't. Lead United to a play offs victory.

Tremendous effort? If we'd played with tremendous effort instead of dire, slow, predictable, scrappy bollocks then we wouldn't be in the play offs. We've not been good enough and the season long below par lacklustre performances caught up with us and our luck ran out. If we'd played with quality all season then we'd be celebrating tonight. I'm not congratulating anything as we've not been good enough through our own doing.

There has been tremendous effort. COH never stops running. Sweatband took some hammer this winter for sure. They have all worked hard let's accept it.
