Well done today lads.
We were poor today and you took your chances, end of.
Our consolation is at least we lost to a proper club and I hope you have a good 'un in the next round. ;)

As an older lad I'm sorry we did not oblige more on Bramall Lane today after the game, its difficult when you have your kids with you but ah well...

Best of luck in the next round and for the rest of the season!

Cheers Dexter. Thought Forest were quite possibly the dirtiest side to play at the lane this season. Very cynical with it. Typical Davies side.

nice to get a proper fan on , cheers, good luck in the play offs

cheeky reference to the after match shenanigans but hey ho

According to the Forest fans, it's the FA's fault they lost as making the draw at half 3 did Cloughy's half time team talk for him.

Why? We were drawn against one or other of two mediocre Championship teams. Is the idiot saying his shower lacked motivation? I suspect it made no difference whatsoever. The better team, on the day, won the match. It happens quite often.

Most reckon it was us that were the dirty side.

Although I am sure they are the ones who finished the game with more yellow cards and Halford could have been sent off.

Well I'll give my honest view here...

A proper cup tie, two sides and the only way you could tell the difference is by looking at the leagues. I thought forest played very physically but I'm fine with that. It added to the game. Apart from Harris putting the forest lad up in the air (perhaps a red?) the bad tackles came from the away side.

The ref was fairly good, tried to keep play moving but really should've booked Halford (he booked Collins for the same later on)

A game was probably heading for a draw but from 0-1 down at halftime there was only ever going to be one winner. Sustained pressure from forest in the second half worked in our favour. After the equaliser the game was ours.

Forest tactics were smashed once Coady scored, they seemed to throw everything into building for a second. Fair enough. Except that Clough and the Blades had other ideas. Soak it up and counter. And counter we did, brilliantly.

Sorry you had some problems with knobheads on the lane after the game. There were a lot there today. But we gave you a proper game and we came out on top. Real cup tie from two sides up for the game. Thank you for making yet another memorable game for the famous Sheffield United. Apologies fit the stadium announcer calling you 'Notts Forest'

Difference was when we fouled the game stopped and a yellow was shown but when they did it he played the advantage many times and then didnt go back to book the player. Halford could easily have been shown a yellow card on at least 4 occasions so yes he could and should have been sent off. Glad he didnt though as its always better to beat 11 men not 10 or even 9 (cough South Barnsley beating Barnsley)

After we got out goal it seemed like counter attacking football at its best.

Let Forest have the ball for a while and a couple of shots then catch them on the break.

It certainly summed up our 3rd goal because I didn't see that coming.

Fucking Scabs..fuck off back to your army pals in the police.

It was brilliant. Quality.

Forest just looked done after the 3rd...

Absolutely. What a difference Scoogs makes. I ❤️ him. Not only that, Cloughie has brought Murphy, Flynn and Baxter to life. I ❤️ him as well.
Schoolgirl was good today. Thought he had a bit of 2003 about him.... Kabbaesque at times, running around with out a clue... Other times had the poise and positioning of Michael Brown

The Scottish mafia was class today. Baxter was excellent but by god he needs to get fitter/ lose some timber

Embarrassing. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Your not on fuckin BM now you know. :(

Err...........that fuck wit came on here talking about what violence they should have done & you approve of that?!
But when I point out what he actually is, (a Notts Scab) I'm in the wrong!?
I don't even know what the rules are anymore?
Maybe I'm berating the wrong fuck wit......

Yeah, maybe you should be looking in a mirror whilst doing it...

Oh and by the way...you didn't point anything out....you just hung on to the coat tails of that other moronic post...

This whole scab thing. Before my time as I was born in January 1984 but i think it's ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, living at that time must have been horrible and Margeret Thatcher had a lot to answer for but here goes...

Didn't the people of Nottingham "scabs" say that they would strike if the majority voted for a strike? There was no vote so carried on to work. (Correct me if i'm wrong??!?)

Then... I know two people from Sheffield, one of which is a friend of the family and the other works with me, here are their stories from that time...

1 - As there was no coal, my mate went to the woods to get somewood for the fire. He would do this every morning with his friend. He was on strike like the rest of the Sheffield folk. One morning a neighbour saw him leaving his home early doors (going to get wood again) and thought, he's going to work the scab. Later that day he went into the pub and everybody in there had a go calling him a scab etc. and he got his head caved in. He then thought fuck it, i may aswell go back to work then.

2 - Other mates dad was a miner and was on strike. It came down to the point when he had no electricity or gas. They could barely afford to feed the kids and so he made the choice to go back to work as his family needed the money to actually live. He would get pelted with stones from his neighbours every day and had their windows put through on the house. They boarded the windows up and they got kicked in. If he hadn't gone back to work, who knows what would've happened to him and his family. My mate used to get beat everyday at school.

So tell me - are those Sheffielders scabs?

If you can no longer provide for your family and keep a roof over your heads then you have failed one of the most important tasks in life.. But hey, they're only fucking scabs!!

Hang on. The Nottingham bloke, despite his wholly unconvincing retreat, was "apologising" for not involving himself in violence. I can't see any reason to like him for that.

You need to look back at my posts from earlier in the week and get your facts reight before coming out with more inconsequential verbiage.
I'm hanging onto no fookers coat tails.
It's still relevant as it's part of our areas history; especially for those raised in the geographical "middle" of it all:
It still hurts.
They're still scabs.
They always will be.
End of.

Funny how you can read things differently. He came on and said we were the better team and deserved to win. So he pointed at not getting involved in a dust up because his kids were with him. Wow what a wanker. As for your comments, shameful.

Fucking Scabs..fuck off back to your army pals in the police.

Small minded ridiculous post. He's a Forest fan so he is a Scab? If you are old enough to remember you ought to be old enough to know better, if your not then your a bigger idiot than I could have thought possible.
