It was about this Citizen geezer, inherited lots of dosh, meant to be based on the life of the american business magnate William Randolph Hearst, and in my interpretation it highlighted how loneliness can follow a person no matter what they have. Wonderful film.

Totally agree. It is discriminatory. Those of us who don't live in England shouldn't be treated like this.
