Nobody has mentioned this yet, so with the interview (which I've listened to btw) i feel the need to address this in my own way with my own feelings...
I've got carried away with the dream that maybe we'd have a shot at winning the league and picking up that beautiful trophy, maybe, just maybe this time we wouldn't be bridesmaids, Saturday confirms that we are not a team that wins the league, we will at best be runners up to Burnley, its not the team or wilders fault that i am compleely deflated, but the people who went to Oxford might have had the same feelings and hopes.. who knows.
We won't get anything at Burnley, that will be the day they put daylight between us, in my opinion, because they make it count when they can capitalise on thier rivals.
We didn't on Saturday, and i think it spoke volumes especially about the style of play, and it wasn't the first time, remember Bristol when we dropped the ball..
Wilder can be as upset as he wants with the fans, and they dont deserve any criticism over the season, but that was devastatingly poor on saturday, and just when we thought they'd started to click after Cov, taken the wind out of many a Blade I can tell you, we were so close.
It's still to fight for, so who knows.. hope I'm wrong and sorry for the negativity, the title was in our hands...
Utb..
