It might sound unpopular but with the games coming up in March we could really do without another FA cup game.
Yes winning breads confidence, but with the no of games we need to play in a short space of time already, I think
more games and more rearrangements can only have a negative affect on the relegation fight. The cup run has been
the one highlight of the season so far, but I think we need to bow out now.

Feel free to disagree or agree with me.

I said similar at the weekend. I never want to see United lose and would be delighted if we did progress in the Cup but equally I wont give a rats arse if we go out and I would swap for 3 points any day..

I thought we should have lost to Fulham at the Lane. The replay was the last think we needed but hey ho if winning becomes a habit it will do for me.

Win=Win.

You can't pick and choose. A team of winners or loser's?

They will all want to beat the Scab's.

We're not chasing promotion where you need to win most games, we "just" need to win half of our remaining games.

So keep going, they'll just train less and the players prefer to play games. The only issue might be injuries to key players but as we know over the last couple of seasons they'll just come along regardless.

Can't agree with this losing malarkey.

In what has been a hugely disappointing season, the two highlights have been the two away days at Villa and Fulham.

The Cup results have ignited a bit of passion in the support, the atmosphere at Villa and Fulham was second to none.

If we had decided to jack it all in at Colchester, in the First Round, we would have had nothing.

Even against Shrewsbury, the Kop seemed a bit louder than normal on the back of the Cup Result.

we don't have a big squad so yeh injuries and suspensions is the main thing i'm worried about.

Don't mind if we lose or win, but I'm a big believer in no draws.........;)
a replay would give us the possibility of breaking the record for the number of away wins in the FA Cup. Dont know if any team has managed 5 away wins in one FA Cup competition

Well Forrest Tucker's dead and Forrest Gump's fictional so can't see them beating anyone.

Any other Forrest's I don't know about?

A mate of mine gets all uppity about people calling them Notts Forest. Some nonsense about Notts being a county and Nottm being the city.

So from now on it's Notts Forrest all the way. Live and learn.

I have tickets now so I expect a win but we can go out in the next round if need be :)

Actually the City Ground is south of the river and is in Rushcliffe Borough and not in the City of Nottingham. Their ground is therefore in the County whereas bizarrely Meadow Lane is north of the river and is in the City of Nottingham so your mate hasn't a clue what he is talking about!

Calling em Notts Forest does wind em up though

I don't think we should. I'd rather see 6,000 glum faces at the other end of the ground rather than seeing them taking the piss out of us!
