Can anybody say when/if a pitch inspection is planned for the Brentford match? If played tonight, I reckon it would be doubtful, but the forecast for the rest of the day and tomorrow is atrocious. Surely midday tomorrow would be the latest an inspection could be held to prevent their fans from making a wasted journey?

You're right, the weather forecast is atrocious I don't see how it can played and looking at Wendy's weather, if not called off before the game, I can see it being called off during the game!

The ones I feel sorriest for are the poor buggers in Somerset - not because they're up to their arse in water, it's just that since the Thames flooded yesterday, suddenly it's a disaster

Must admit, seeing aerial photos of those Thameside mansions, all with private boats moored outside and now getting flooded, makes me smile at the talentless fucks who have made their fortunes from the Beeb - Ronnie Corbett, Michael Parkinson, Bruce Forsyth, Jimmy Tarbuck etc.

Off topic, I know, but we used to stay at the pub in Datchet when visiting North London - there's a level crossing 100 yards down the road and the traffic backs up.

So George is sitting in the window seat with a pint of lager, when I suddenly realise that my mate is gawping and gabbling. Looked outside, and there's the Queen Mother sitting in her limousine, gave us a lovely smile as she swept away to Windsor Castle.

My mum said "I hope you were looking presentable".....

Yep Datchet is covered, level crossing everything shut off causing major delays on the roads and rails too.

Have you had any more rain since i posted yesterday then?
Someone else seemed to think it would be absolutely fine, yes an earlier inspection would be handy, think our coaches are setting off around 13:30. But then no idea when it could be rearranged for.

Hoping for more rain ,nice postponement and im off to Fuerteventura early hours of Thursday ,so more rain and off Sunday too please :)

Very selfish.

Who is going to disagree with my match reports?

I too am not bothered if it is off this mid week - rather it be played later in season when it is warmer even if is looking like a bit of a backlog - still enough mid weeks to squeeze it in. Trouble is if Forest is off; it would probably be a fortnight tonight meaning game away (Colchester is it) would be off.

If rain continues it will definitely be off tomorrow. It is as bad as it was the other week when it was off v Peterborough and we have had more rain since. I think only thing that saved Saturday was a relatively dry Friday and Saturday morning last week.

We may have a nice rest up to Bristol now which may not be a bad thing; sure there will be lots of other games off too so feel that we wont get too far behind - maybe!

Havent we got Gillingham away next week though ?

Can't you just go early and lace into Deadbat in advance??;)

Get many cacti growing in the wilds of Lodge Moor?

Walthy Alert

Wish I could 'like' this more than once. Some of the south west has been doing its best Atlantis impression since mid December & got sod all help from central government. The Thames bursts it's banks and the residents want the bloody army!! I'd put good money on them getting it too.
