See below for an article on Sheffield Football:

I'll be honest, it's my mates website and I helped contribute to some of it, please remember it had to be impartial! Anyhow, thought it would be a good read for a Thursday morning. There will be some United specific memories and articles on there in the near future.

If there are any readers who post on 'Bladesmad', could you do me a big favor and post the above article on there?

Had a lot of good responses regarding the article, will be a big help in getting it on Bladesmad. I can't for some reason get an account set up on there.

Thanks! UTB

Some interesting factoids in there. I struggled to read the stuff about the other lot, but the fact they haven't spent a million on a player since the turn of the millennium is remarkable. And what's even more remarkable is that it was Shefki Kuqi. :)

JohnDenver, nice site mate, and I know what needs to happen to make any site work let alone be interesting.

My only impartial bit of advice is that the united badge should overlap the pig's excuse for what passes for a badge. Ours is far more commanding and reflective of what a proper club badge is meant to be, whereas their's is a piss poor Blue Petter attempt, no doubt 'created' on that bog of a pitch with school crayons.

Changed :)

Excellent, and I might add, a return to the natural order ;)

Thanks for the mail mate, I managed to have a decent look at the site last night, very informative and even-handed. I'll just never be able to look at their badge as anything other than a child's after-school project, still, in the scheme of things a small irritant.
Good site fella, well done!
