And one final thing, that's way over 8 hours of football they've played against us without a goal now 😄
if we get promoted. it will cherry on the top. that it will be 13yrs & counting for a win. 8yrs & counting for a goal 😁

Well, I feel like I've aged a few years during that game but it's a very big 3 points. It was a dire game that perhaps merited a boring 0:0 draw but a bit of luck and a bit of skill was the difference. That and having a quality keeper. Still, a great Sheffield double.

Cooper - 8 - Man of the match, by some distance. Great reactions for the Smith header first half and the Johnson shot in the second. Very secure all came. It makes such a difference as a team and watching a team when you have a reliable and dependable keeper.
Burrows - 6 - Kept at his task and kept making runs. It was a tough afternoon for him where we didn't really get hold of the ball.
Robbo - 5.5 - Thought he struggled all day with stronger forwards. Kept going though.
Anel - 7 - Thought he was our best defender today. Got some vital touches and blocks.
Peck - 5.5 - Mixed, once again. His ball round the corner started the move for the goal but he gave the ball away frequently and kept falling over far too easily.
Choudhury - 7.5 - Best game so far, for me. He was the midfielder always getting back to make a block/challenge and covering runs.
Hamer - 6 - A lot of our better play in the first half came through him but his final ball needed to be better.
BBD - 5 - Did a few things first half when on the ball and offered more cover than usual, but once again I want to see more from him. He's too peripheral.
Brewster - 5 - Gets his goal and that what people will remember but outside of that did very little outside of running around a lot.
Campbell - 6 - Hardly touched the ball for long periods but kept making runs and his deflected cross was the difference today.

Subs:

Canon - 4 - Once again he comes on we have absolutely nothing up front.
O'Hare - 5 - Put a shift in but not really on the ball at all
McCallum - 3 - I thought he was terrible. We needed legs and and a calm head. He gave the ball away badly which put us in trouble near the end.
Holding - 6 - Helped to sure us up at the end.

Wilder - 6/10 - We got the 3 points in the end but we weren't the better team out there. Not for the first time this season I had no idea what our gameplan actually was.

Wednesday - Will feel hard done by and, outside the goal, they had the better chances but they're very industrial Quite appropriately, lots of hoof.

Fucking get in lads! What a win what a double some pressure on to win eith Leeds dropping points and burnley winning.

Typical Sheffield derby game of recent years but the little bit of quality by peck and ability of Campbell and readiness of Brewster won it.

Great result. Joint top. 8 to go. International break to regather everything
Plus Cooper’s first half save and handling of corners and crosses.

Cooper had a perfect game today… he simply couldn’t have done anymore! 10/10
