Feel like the kid on Willy Wonka finding the gold ticket in a chocolate bar getting here for this one - hopefully with the sweet aftertaste.

Souza out is a huge hole in midfield that someone needs to step up and fill….

Agree… and the problem is the Choudhury- Peck partnership looked really poor in the last match.

Wilder again playing games regards fitness updates. For all we know Souza could be out for the season.

Sereki is usually a brilliant impact sub but hasn’t been convincing when starting.

Also the Holding looked impressive in the last match and he’s dropped.

Doesn’t exactly fill you with optimism. Also makes you wonder if there’s something wrong as the club as half the squad have had injury spells meaning very few are 100% fit.

Apart from Charles, Bannan & Gassama theirs looks like a League One team. Our players are far superior. There’s fuck all to fear as long as we play the game rather than the occasion.

If that ends up being the case, I don't understand why he's dicking about with tactics again.

Play to our strengths, try and actually keep the ball, and let them worry about us.

I can see us giving up the ball a lot, chasing shadows, exhausting our players, injuries, as per usual. Just keep the ball!
I'm inclined to think the tactic hasn't changed, but if it is a 433, that is not a drastic switch away from the 4231 we have been adopting. Just one player being slightly repositioned to have better ability at retaining possession in midfield.

That's something we've been poor at a lot this season. If we can keep the ball better, we can push them back more, perhaps creating more chances for ourselves, and denying them for the opposition in the process.

Just showed our stand, have they not sold restricted view tickets as some big gaps diagonal to the stantions

Seriki can’t defend for shit… we don’t seem to have a competent right back at the club - Gilchrist is only one that can defend a bit in that role
