In the case of Max Lowe this would suggest that Wednesday have better science and conditioning than us 🤔

Is that the case? (Genuine question)
No. His major injury with us was caused by a water sprinkler on the Derby pitch that hadn’t retracted properly, that one was nothing to do with conditioning.

Lad could barely string three games together same with Bogle

My biggest wish for pre season is that the new regime revamp and modernise the whole medical department as its obviously been ran on a shoestring under the last lot

Max Lowe and Bogle at Leeds - ever presents for their clubs this season - ravaged by injuries when at our club , our players made of glass ? Or something else

And since then Ampadu who was fine with us has fucked his knee at Leeds and gone for surgery. Are people being objective when they criticise us? Be interesting to see some actual stats.

The have both put much longer runs of games together than the ever did with us

And the both look like they actually give. A fuck as well when ever I've seen them Play which is another new thing for them

Hope I'm not tempting fate but given our away record and their home record, it seems strange that they are favourites with the bookies.

I go on what I’ve seen at other clubs. Purely on staff numbers and equipment we have a lot of catching up to do. I don’t blame Hecky or Wilder in the slightest, it’s just not an area we’ve invested in.

Yeah, if you've experience of facilities that's interesting to know about. I'm meaning are our injury stats actually worse than other similar teams. Gimme the numbers.

I’ve put lengthy stuff on the forum in the past about what I’ve seen elsewhere. I don’t have stats though.

Lowe didn't play for us for longs spells because he was shite and we preferred to start Luke Fucking Thomas and Larouci.

Don't read long posts . I just want a simple coloured chart.
That’s exactly what the physios get every single morning at the club I visited in January. A beautiful thermal image of the legs of each player as they arrive for training. It shows precisely which muscles need activating and that determines the individual warm up for that player (each physio has responsibility for 4 players).

It also shows any areas of inflammation, no matter how small, which means that potential problems are picked up and dealt with before they can develop into bigger ones.

Same ref and assistants as Hull at home, lets hope they think they owe us one for that offside!

I don't think playing Seriki & JRS is a good fit, Seriki was left exposed trying to cover 2 players leaving thr RB position empty with JRS not tracking back to help his team m8.
We coped better with BBD moving out to the right.
Once again square pegs/round hole effect.

no derby is easy but i feel confident as you can as be i remember a dominant man utd going to maine rd & losing heavily. depends what utd tirn if its the Middlesbrough, leeds, preston team. we should win. but if its the tired Bristol city that lacked a spark then we could be in trouble

but does relieve a bit of pressure that we need the points regardless. this could be oxford away & the pressure wouldn't be much different

I think there are 3 big risks today.

1. Losing the midfield battle. If Souza starts, he's not match fit. Peck looks tired from playing too much. Seriki had cramp in the week so I think he might not start, meaning Choudhury at RB. If Bannon gets on the ball a lot then we could be in trouble.

2. The wings. I would love JRS to start as it's a perfect game for him to run at Johnson and Lowe and cause them headaches. But, on the flip side, Wednesday push their wingbacks up and JRS starting will mean no cover for Seriki/Choudhury or an RB coming back from injury. Similar case if BBD starts on the left. It's one of the main areas Wednesday have some joy with cutbacks.

3. Height. Wednesday love a long throw/set piece and while they're not great at them we're not great at defending them. If they have Smith/Iorfa/Windass etc on the pitch they'll look to exploit our lack of height. I think there's a chance Wilder will pick a team to combat this but it would weaken us going forward.

jrs cant start in this game but could impact things from the bench
