I can honestly say every player was superb, no not Doyle though.
For me it had to be Brayford. An excellent acquisition by Clough. Scougall, Flynn and Murphy played out of their skins too. A real shame about Maguire going off as I think we'd have come away with a win, with a MOTM performance from Maguire.
A final bollocking of Doyle... What a tosser, he should be dropped for the remainder of the season along with Brandy for his stupidity.
All in all a very happy Blade.

Maguire was hopefully taken off as a precaution.

Thought Murphy ran his heart out so will give my MOM to him, however everyone played well, captain a side.

Might be a controversial choice, but I thought Collins did extremely well in difficult conditions. Best game of his in ages.

For all the stick Long for some reason continues to get, he was faultless today - and did well to react to the deflection off Brayford to turn round the post. Horrible conditions for a keeper today - even the easiest looking trickler of a shot can spill off you.

Brayford for me followed by Murphy but the whole side played well. Some good stuff from Scougall, Baxter and Flynn.

Just seen the Doyle incident, he's a snidy twat isn't he ?

I'm hoping it is the beginning of the end for him. Totally irresponsible, surely we can find someone better.

Brayford. Flawless defending. Power and purpose going forward.

However, all (but one) heroes today. Flynny and Murphs are really starting to show what they can do. Coady was excellent. Scougall is a little gem. NC, there's your central midfield. Never mind next season Scoogs (his Livi nickname - don't blame me) can make a difference right here, right now.

I was proud of my team today. Endeavour, passion and, crucially for me, no shortage of good attractive football.

A long way to go, but we've taken a couple of steps lately.

Well done Nigel and his R&WW.

Murphy, Flynn and Baxter all stepped up to the plate when things turned sour in the second half (that's not to say that they weren't already playing well). With those three, we actually looked like we could still win, despite losing players to injury, red cards and after they equalised.

I would give it to Murphy. Just. As others have already said, everyone did a good job today.

Brayford looks a real quality signing everything you'd want from a full back at this level.
Most of the were excellent but he stood out today.

BT Sport gave it to Porter.

Very little has been said on here about what was an excellent instinctive finish by Porter. I've barely seen his name mentioned - had he missed a sitter though, I'm sure that wouldn't be the case...

Porter did play well for a half as did scougall, the 90 min performers for me were brayford (my motm) snd murphy

It seems strange to give it to someone who only played 45 minutes, though he did have a good half. I'm waiting for Pompey's assessment.

Is Brayford our new Captain?

Between Brayford & Hill for me. Both were excellent.

Murphy & Flynn were close contenders though and I was impressed with Scougall.

Murphs. Ages ago, when talk was of him leaving, i said i hope we keep him cos theres a player in there somewhere. Finally seeing that now.

I'd like to see Hill made captain. He certainly gains the respect of the crowd and I'm sure he would from the players.
Oh and to answer the OP's question....Flynn MOM for me, just ahead of Brayford, Hill, Collins, Baxter and Murphy.
