Fantastic half of football from us, showed intensity, dynamic play, composure, creativity and effort. Everything that i’ve been whinging about they’ve pulled it out the bag. I’m happy to be made look a little silly if i get to watch more of that. The first 25mins were sublime. 10/10.

daylight robbery from the referee. if your giving penalties for that consistently there will be a penalty after every corner in every game, i thought giving offside despite there being 3 players in front was bad enough earlier in the game

Great first half - first time I've really enjoyed watching us for ages.

However....and sorry for the but.....whilst I've not really joined in on the Cannon pile on, I'm starting to sit in the I'm really not sure I rate him camp. Cannon needs to watch Iheanacho as his own movement is non existent - Iheanacho is always offering and pulling defenders out of position. I was annoyed that he was stood behind 2 players on the O'Hare pull back given all the talk about him being a goal getter. Even his basic offering down the line is way off and is yards behind the defender when the ball is played. When we were on top he barely touched it or offered anything. Hopefully comes back to bite me, but I don't know what he's bringing to the team collective.

Likewise - he really needs to start offering more. I watched him score four in one game earlier on in the season and I’m having a hard time believing it’s the same player

To make it worse that penalty was disgraceful. Watched it back and it was the usual in the box tussle. In fact in all my 40 odd years of watching footy I have never seen a penalty given like that. Utterly bizarre

I have, Clarke is no improvement on Gilchrist and we can't even fit both in the squad so that's a wedge blown. We've seemingly chucked 12m on someone not worth 1/4 of that. We aren't in any position to keep missing on these big outlays.
