It is yet again a cup upset if we beat fulham but will what are the chances of a pitch invasion with a win and through to the 5th round?

We invaded the pitch last season when we beat Stevenage to go to Wembley. Quite embarrassing to tbh! Anyone would have thought we'd won the premier league!

Just what we need a Fine from the FA for failure to control crowd. One of the most stupid suggestions I've ever seen on here.

The poster might want to reflect that the police probably read this and his post could be interpreted as an incitement. Really bright NOT.

yep if we win i will do a street invasion and run on my street celebrating i might get locked up tho as im the only blade around here

I'd be quite happy to lose the game 2-1 after a good performance and unlucky result. We need to concentrate on the league, we are in a relegation battle and having more games like Colchester away cancelled could work against us. So instead of it being a saturday afternoon with a weeks preparation its a tuesday night having travelled that day, not good. The 5th round is on the 15th/16th February when we are due to play Gillingham away another tough away game that needs preparing for. If we were mid table like we should be after the last 3 games i'd be thinking differently.

I'm never happy to see United lose, I find that comment strange.

A cup run can boost morale and bring confidence to a team. They're professionals with high levels of fitness, paid handsomely to do something fun. If they can't handle two competitions they want to have a look at themselves.

Can't handle one competition

Like the comment below, we can't handle one competition staying up is the priority i would have rather lost at villa in exchange for beating Notts county or Walsall.

Couldn't disagree more. I'd rather us get absolutely destroyed by Fulham & win 1-0. I get the feeling Mr Clough is still working our squad out & more games means more practice = better results.

Again????

I wasn`t aware he had followed through on his promise from last time as yet...

Hue hue hue

If we win, I might just invade the kitchen for a celebratory cuppa and offer the biscuit ahhhht..!

That's not how it works though is it? If we had lost at Villa that doesn't mean we would have won at Notts County or Walsall.

I want United to win every game they play in, end of. I'm a bit confused by the logic.....does winning in the cup make you less equipped to win games in the league?

Normally I would agree with you on this, however the results since the Villa game show we don't need any added distractions
