I would actually like one forward who can play across the three who can really unlock doors. But a couple of wingers who aren't for the now or future seems a bit odd.

Maybe Joe Russo knows that transfer deadline day needs to be a cliffhanger and a solitary CB isn't enough to get us all excited.

I think they're just experimenting to see if AI for finding players has long term potential.

Wingers are probably the positions that you don't mind bringing on for the last 20.mins to see how they do. So probably the easiest position to test it out with
