I’ve seen enough of him this season. Clearly more than any of the United scouts.

The Stoke fans said exactly the same.

He doesn’t do anything apart from score.
Give his chances and he’s a top level finishers don’t give him chances and he doesn’t contribute much.

Why bother signing any striker if you won't acknowledge the issue with giving them anything to feed off? Genuinely think we have the most idiotic scouting team in history.
Cannon doesn’t make runs so it’s hard to give him anything to feed off. A striker who just stands there with his hands in his pocket won’t get many chances.

Then Wilder should be sent to the hague if things don't improve

Nobody is saying they hate him though, just that we've massively overpaid for him. Which we have.

How do you know? He’s played 2 matches FFS!

He could turn into a Brewster type waste of money or we could sell him in a couple of years for £50m!

Maybe wait a little bit before writing him off?

Nice turn for the assist. And good for BBD to get off the mark early.

I’d like to see cannon in a side with 2 of our better attacking players creating for him in Hamer and JRS.

We’re getting closer to full strength now - which is a positive given the injuries and suspensions we’re dealing with.

Some of our fans really are odd. Haven’t been today as I’m on holiday, saw the goal which he created brilliantly. Came onto the forum and saw his thread was the most recently commented on, expected him to be getting prised. Hes getting slagged off haha 😂. Can’t make it up.

Not the first time Wilder's been accused of 'overpaying' (Brewster's the other that comes to mind) but if he contributes to getting us over the line, work it out.....if that happy eventuality happens it's then a case of what we do with Tom, or can he be coached to improve?

I've seen him plenty more than 2 games this season, he isn't worth anything close to what we paid for him. Pretty much all Stoke and Leicester fans seem to think the same too.

Won us the game with the only bit of quality in the final third. Turned his man and put it on a plate for BBD at the back stick.

In the first few mins, he turned his man in the box and was dragged back by his man.
If he'd gone down it was a certain pen. If he hadn't been dragged, he'd probably have scored.

I appreciate it's only flashes of quality and he didn't hold and link the play (not really his game), but he was decisive.
That was what he was brought in for.

Anyone criticising him today, without offering the above balance, is talking out their arse.
