Could the game be called off because of expected 90mph winds (somewhere) with rain.

A little quiz question about Friday nites game, two images, what do you get ?

Can live with that - so long as its not snowing over Snake….

Would the quiz answer by any chance be the ref on Friday? Let’s hope he is as saintly (at least for us).

50mph winds in Sheffield in the daytime. By kick off, winds in the teens and 0% chance of rain. Sounds absolutely fine.

Too many people today have been infected by the woke mind virus. In the 80's, the wind was that strong Paul Stancliffe once literally blew away during a game and ended up on West Street. He just ran back to the now roofless stadium and carried on playing, naked as the day he was born because his clothes had flew off his body, and got Man Of The Match. Back when MEN WERE MEN AND ONLY ATE YORKIES.

Should have put this in your latest Pinch article 😆.

You forgot the Phil Collins soundtrack...or was it Genesis?

The weather Friday evening is pretty good dry and a little breezy with gusts to 25 mph

Could be gusts of up to 60mph early afternoon but nothing after that to suggest a postponement.

With it being on Sky the only reason it will be called off is if the roof blows off at lunchtime. Then they might still play it in the car park with jumpers for goal posts.

Agree that a postponement wouldn't be the worst with our midfield problems, although we might have one or two available by Friday.

Doesn't take much these days for the fair weather fannies to come out though 😉

Yorkies were dessert after a couple of packs of flame grilled steak McCoys.

Are you suggesting that the nice Mr Stancliffe had cannabalistic tendencies towards people born in York ?

I was there, Blades won 2-0 , we all got to take home a piece of the Kop roof, still got mine.

Unfortunately the Kop pillars remained unscathed.

Most of my trains have already been cancelled.

Will have to take a view on my prospects of getting home again before I set off.
