He also managed him, albeit briefly, at Watford. He'll have a good idea of his character.
He comes across well in interview.

His crimes, from what I gather, seem to be some teenage tweets, trying to shag a porn star and drink driving.
I'd only class the last one as a real crime .

I am surprised about how many blades fans seem to rate him and some would prefer him to Charles or Morton. Personally I am hoping Leicester switch managers and this puts any chance of a deal off
 
Id prefer United to get Charles from Southampton because he is a decent player now and will only get better. Would be a very astute signing for us if we did end up with him. That said, the new Southampton boss would probably want to take a closer look at him.

Royally pissing off the Wendies would also be lovely, but that's not the reason I want SC. Just think he would grow organically as a player with United. Choudhury would be fine as a loan but Charles would be better.

I'd take what some keyboard warriors on the internet have to say with a pinch of salt. Most of the opinions on this site appear to be those of crazed imbeciles.

I have to say, I'm always very impressed with the number of people on here who seem to be in the know and so certain about our transfer dealings, targets, and also just as impressively, budgets of other clubs, and a thorough knowledge of the players themselves and their personal preferences. I must be the only one on here who isnt slightly in the know. Who knew that virtually everyone on here is a football agent, seemingly....

I'm with you on that mate.

What is clear is we desperately need reinforcements at DCM (and CB). I don't have a strong preference either way for Charles or Hamza. Would be very happy with either. Time is critical now with Souza still out, Davies out, Peck looking knackered, and Hamer suspended. Can't believe we would put it on hold from our end.

If that’s true then I’d say Wilder feels he might be able to sign a better player, indicates Charles or Doyle if the interest in either of those two is real.
 
if the choudray deal is on hold and charles looking likely to be going back to the snortbeasts just wonder if tommy doyle is our number 1 target now and after all the pigs sniggering about how they ended arblasters season wouldnt it be poetic if charles got injured and was ruled out for the season

It was mentioned in shoutbox last night mate, that Wilder has halted it. Then a couple in here said it because Charles, or others had become available, and were seen as better options. 🤷‍♂️

Wasn't the choudhury one supposed to be on a perm? Obvs he's older than our other options, maybe we're looking at perm deals for a younger player with better resale value?

That said, Saints paid a bucketload for Charles, so no chance that'll be on a perm.
