What exactly is wrong with Rak-Sakyi?

I might have missed it, but he seems to be fine health wise (if not really at the races performance wise) and then without any reported injury on the field, he seems to have been missing for a good few games, been back to his patent club and is still seemingly missing after the mini break. So, what exactly is the issue with him? He's only going to be valuable to us if we can get him on the pitch (same as any player).

Chris Wilder on Jamie Shackleton

"Jamie Shackleton took a whack to the bottom of his foot and the healing process hasn't been great so he's out short-medium term."

Chris Wilder on Kieffer Moore

"Kieffer Moore needs a hernia operation. I've kept that under the radar but the boy hasn't been great for 2 or 3 or 4 weeks from a physical point of view and I've got to say when people have a nip at him, which maybe happens if you miss a penalty or don't produce your best performances, but they need to know that, that's the reason. Kieffer's been battling with this issue for quite a while now so he needs an op. When that op will happen will possibly coincide with us having the likes of Tyrese back or a couple of boys joining the club. It's not going to be a big operation, he'll be out 2-3 weeks but he potentially will be involved tomorrow."

Chris Wilder on Souza and Rak-Sakyi

"Vini and Jes are touch and go whether they'll be involved in the squad [tomorrow] but they'll definitely be involved in the squad on Tuesday/Friday."

Don’t think a hernia would cause someone to miss a penalty😵‍💫
Something caused the comment '' Kieffer Moore needs a hernia operation. I've kept that under the radar but the boy hasn't been great for 2 or 3 or 4 weeks from a physical point of view'' so whether it was a hernia or not, still begs the question why did he let him take the penalty?

That's great. We were led to believe Souza would miss over 10 games. Very big difference to be getting him back now rather than March. Big boost, perhaps decisive

Hasn't Souza been out and come back too early so gone out again ?
Hamstring isn't it ?
Would be very wary of pushing him again before he's fully ready , with that sort of injury.

Can't remember what JRS injury was.

When are the football gods gonna take their "injury curse" off us ?
Isn't it enough for them that we have a thin squad ?
Blaster out for season.
Souttar gone back to Foxes.
Shacks whack or summat.
JRS , I can't remember.
Moore calf & now hernia.
Campbell back/hamstring.
Davies & Peck looking shattered.
Souza hamstring.
RND looks like he'll never be the player he was prior to his huge layoff.
We have no sub CB on the bench.

No signings - just praying for no more injuries.
And some heroic battling performances in the next three.

It's nice that some players are coming back, but we shouldn't rule out us getting new ones.

Using the squad when we can - can help.

  1. Avoid late injuries when players are tired physically and mentally
  2. Avoiding too many 90+ minutes when the schedule is hectic
  3. Blooding youngsters, who in turn may become a little more ready to help out if injury crises reoccur
  4. Better training sessions and preparation between matches if we successfully manage to do this

Today was a quite comfortable win. Norwich had little to offer. Still we only used three subs and we got a couple more injuries.

Tom Davies looked unhappy/down when he walked past us after being subbed.

Easy to read too much into it but couldn't help think he knew or thought he was going to be out again.

So we've still got Souza, JRS,Brooks,Shakele and Moore to come back?

With the 5 apparently coming in without injurys that's going to be one ridiculously stacked subs bench!

I was really confused by the lack of subs yesterday. Two were in response to injuries.
