A bit confused why people keep saying they wouldn’t pay 13M. Technically Sunderland wouldn’t be paying that either because as it stands they aren’t promoted and there’s no guarantee they will be. If they don’t go up then wouldn’t he go back to Leicester? I think this all hinges on how keen Leicester want him gone and the sensible option for them would be to accept a guaranteed 7M now with possible add ons.

He was so kean on a promotion bonus out of the takeover deal as well. You'd have thought he'd have wanted extra signings like Cannon to guarantee his bonus.

Bit left field buy may have thought “let the new owners sign players”

Pure speculation here but the timing of the Stoke announcement kinda suggests they were told last night. Then announced on social media this morning once their social media team rocked up for the day.

That would leave the door open for both United to buy permanently or Sunderland’s loan to buy offer which had a deadline for recall of midnight last night.

Strengthens leicesters hand and forces an auction type scenario.

Of course if Bellingham gets injured then their whole house of cards could collapse.
To be fair mate, so does our's with a significant injury to Cooper. I think we'd struggle to stay in the play-off positions.

That's Championship football I guess.

Hope there are other options and we haven’t been putting all out efforts into this one
Move on as long as it’s not McBurnie

Leicester are screwed with psr so £7m now is a lot better for them than a possible £13m in 4 months.

I’m not so sure… sunderland want a loan to buy, we’re offering straight up cash

Agree and their loan to buy is conditional and not even guaranteed.
In fact more than likely Sunderland won’t be promoted, so it’s unlikely to lead to a sale.
Suspect we’ll offer £7 million guaranteed sale + maybe a £3 million bonus based on promotion.

We’ve been planning this and other purchases/ loans for months.
Nothing is ever certain regards deals, so of course we have a plan A, a plan B and a plan C.

Good lord we’ve got more money then sense it seems. Who cares though, up the American blades

May I thank you. I've been trying to think of something to help me focus on reading some documents this morning and you mentioned Left field, so I have just whacked on Leftism, top stuff

Sunderland are play offs at best and without a decent January window so are we. The difference is with good business we could make the top two
