Because for a fraction of the price we could have a player of potentially superior potential. Have you not seen his stats for this season?

Alternatively we could spend 13m on a distinctly average striker 🤷

When you say a fraction of the price, how much do you reckon?

I find it hard to believe that Wycombe are going to let their top scorer go on the cheap. They’re in an automatic promotion place and their owner is a multi-billionaire.

However if they sell him, the multi billionaire then has to put less of his own money in

Might well be bollocks but it's not the same as bidding to buy a player outright.

It's also worth noting that Sunderland may feel they need to go high on the promotion fee to get the deal done in time.

Various comments about this Stoke deadline but nothing concrete confirmed.

My take is we offered 7m now to buy. That’s certain but lower than they want. Sunderland’s is we want a loan but then there’s 13m if they go up so it’s not certain. It’s whether they gamble or not.

I didn't want to say anything because I've only ever seen highlighs as well, but as far as reels go, that's a pretty crappy one.
Yeah he’s scored goals, but league 1 is a poor poor standard right now imho

£13m for a young striker at championship level who scores one in two is not that unreasonable given today's prices. I suspect we'll not match that offer though.
That’s the problem. In today’s market £13m is probably right. You look at Mcburnie for £20m in 2020 who was also a proven Championship striker but nothing more at the time.

The surprise for me is the level of financial commitment Sunderland are going for. They could be left with a load of over priced deadwood if they’re promoted

I’d be shocked if it were over 4/5m.. transfermarkt has his contract ending June 2026.

the words 'could' and 'potentially'superior potential' are doing a lot of heavy lifting there

It’s 13M for Hamza and Tom .. that’s a good deal to bolster our squad with a bit more steel in midfield and another maverick striker who knows where the net is ! !!

perhaps Sunderland couldn’t afford to match our bid right now so hoped a huge figure if promoted to tempt Leicester? Pete O’rourke made it sound very much like we’d made a permanent offer not a loan to buy

Another £6m is a drop in the ocean if he gets us promoted. It's too much admittedly, but who are our alternatives?

Well he’ll be playing in red and white one way or another.

Let’s have a feel of Dick Kone, see if a deal can be summoned there?

You aren’t actually asking me a question? You asked me one initially, which I answered. Then you came out with some shit about “heavy lifting”
So I'm still asking you the same question then but you keep coming out with some shit about Tom cannon

Apparently Leicester don't want to do any sort of loan. They want a sale now to add some cash to their budget for this window.

I’ve given you an answer 😂
I’ll go in depth.

16 goals in all competitions in 34 games. Scored with both feet, provided a few assists, has strength and pace. Hes 21 years of age, with brilliant stats considering he were playing in the senior league before joining Wycombe.
