A random trait amongst many SUFC fans that I'll never understand. No I’m not bothered about going up, why would anyone after last season?
What's point in following a sport if you don't want to get to the top?

But he said "fact" ?I could probably guarantee you that Brewster doesn’t earn £57,000 a week.
Might of done when he first signedBut he said "fact" ?![]()
The journey is always better than the destination, especially when it comes to the premier league.Point is?

No I wouldn’t want McBurnie back, my opinion, I’m glad we’ve not signed Barnes, my opinion.
Personally don’t think we’ll spend any money this window, my opinion.
Brewster prob has earnt about £9m in wages, fact
We have lost to Leeds, Boro and Burnley, and Sunderland
We’ve not played well for a while, anyone who thinks otherwise have been watching something different.
We've not had any major interview of note or details of any appointments to admin times from the new owners yet have we. Surely we get that in next week or so.I wonder what DesTaylors input is or has been in the type of players required /Requested by CWAK on his magic list. Or is Des Taylor even on the scouting team![]()
I wonder if our summer links to Billing were down to Des Taylor from his Bournemouth days, same with Kieffer.I wonder what DesTaylors input is or has been in the type of players required /Requested by CWAK on his magic list. Or is Des Taylor even on the scouting team![]()
Wilder mentioned something about speaking to ‘the recruitment team’ in his interview post-Sunderland. I assume this will include Des, Bettis and Hoyland? We've not had any major interview of note or details of any appointments to admin times from the new owners yet have we. We’ve just been bought ffs. You’re saying they won’t spend a bean or try to get us stable in the premier when their business plan is to do just thatPoint is?

Maybe because, in all things, enjoying the journey is far more important than the destination, especially when the destination is uncertain.A random trait amongst many SUFC fans that I'll never understand.

I understand winning is better than losing. But in a relegation/promotion system. The goal is to be in the top section.Maybe because, in all things, enjoying the journey is far more important than the destination, especially when the destination is uncertain.
My enjoyment of football and, in particular, the Blades doesn’t really depend on which division we happen to be in.

But it does presumably have some element of building a better future as part of that enjoyment?Maybe because, in all things, enjoying the journey is far more important than the destination, especially when the destination is uncertain.

Exactly this! And then eventually we’re getting pumped every week in the Champ and we’re L1 bound again! But it does presumably have some element of building a better future as part of that enjoyment?
If we don’t do up, this side gets broken up, again and again and again and just gets weaker.

I don’t understand how folk don’t get this!
Ask Preston fans about being mid table championship every yearI hear people say things like 'I'm happy finishing 7th every season'.
Apart from the fact they won't be after a couple of seasons, the reality is that it won't be that high after that.

Van Gerwyn said something along these lines last night after he lost.I understand winning is better than losing. But in a relegation/promotion system. The goal is to be in the top section.
We may have to fail up there multiple times before we become competitive. But giving up on the top just because it was a bit shit last time isn't the right attitude IMO
It's not about success or promotions I think it just boils down to fans dislike of the Premier League. I hate it personally
I'm like you. Don't like what the PL has become. It's hard to compete up there now. The key to success up there now seems to be surviving 2 seasons. After that and you'll have built a decent side and you're generally loaded. It's not about success or promotions I think it just boils down to fans dislike of the Premier League. I hate it personally
Why don't I watch any other games then? Let alone pay to go and see them?No you hate finishing 20th and conceding 100 goals a season
Ask forest fans if they like it
We create them, putting them away seems to be the issueYeah that's true
Anyway, my original point before several people derailed it is we obviously do create chances for strikers in answer to the misery arse who says we don't
Not much these days sadly…Wots Des say?
What a singer got all his vynalsNot much these days sadly…
The concept of it is fine. The Premier League is properly wank however well you're doing, it's impossible to overstate how much VAR has ruined the match day experience.
