Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland keep bottling it against the bottom half teams
where as we're always comfortable winning against the bottom half teams.

The league table at the end of the season is all that matters.

Moore is a target man, holds up play well but when you’ve got others buzzing around and he plays a back towards our own goal we lose all momentum. I understand we have injuries but Sunderland are playing without 3 of the 4 midfielders that played at Bramall Lane.

A really entertaining game so far. Just frustrating that we miss the pen and Robbo produces one of his occasional calamitous fuckups.
Other than that we’ve played well and stand a good chance of getting something in the second half.

disappointing to be behind at half time. as for most part i was pleased with how we played & we gifted Sunderland the lead with 2 howlers

shocking penalty from moore. no pace & easy to save in the middle of the goal

as much as i like robbo, that the issue. he's always got a howler in him. Peterborough under slav & man city wembley come to mind. this time it couldve cost us hugely

hate to be critical of Peck. as he been fantastic after getting chucked in the deep end, he wasnt supposed to be playing 46 games a season. but we saw bits of this with him & davies v WBA but he has to do better you cant lose the ball that easily & as we know that will leave us wide open

You cannot expect Brooks to play two full games inside 70 hours and then again on Saturday.

Seems to be wasted up front if we can not play to his strengths, which are.......?

Because we have no fucker else- it’s showing now that this team was built on the cheap.

I think against the better teams the problems that we have become more obvious. I appreciate some is due to injuries. Robinson is a big, big problem, and for me, always has (opinions I know). Peck less so, but he should be learning this season and has had to be thrown in. We lack something going forward that Sunderland have in abundance - pace, power and directness with purpose. I thought that we learned this lesson many times over. Many, many times over.

Exactly. Add to that they get runners through the centre and we backpedal as fast as we can. With both our RB and LB too far up the field when we lose the ball.

1st half summary;

Moore missed 66% if penalties taken and one he scored wasn't a great penalty.

Jack Robinson putting in one of his clown mistakes we all know he's capable

Anel looks back to his sulking down in the dumps self.

Peck is not a starting Championship level player whatsoever. Either giving ball away or passing sideways and backwards.

Having said that...when the ball drops in Sunderland box they themselves look an absolute bomb scare and we could easily get a goal in 2nd half .

Again who do we have to replace him at present ? He does defend well like McB used to.
I think he is generally poor but until there is someone better then that’s what we have.
Please don’t give him another penalty to take !!

I think that the idea of Moore when bringing him in was to bring it down for Hamer, O'Hare and others to feed off. But!!! They'd be so much better with an Isidor type player than Moore - we just don't play that way which uses a target man, gets it wide and gets a cross in. In this team and approach Moore is a big limiting factor in our attacks. Maybe this is Campbell, but we are where we are.
