Yeah no we want no part of this.

I don't know if it's Stoke making him look bad, or if he is truly dross but he did fuck all again today

I'd still take him on a loan basis. Stoke aren't a good side.
Have a look at how Campbell's doing for your example of a player that improves with better players around him.

He'd give us runs in behind and finishing ability. He'd be a great option to have in the pack, but wouldn't be a guaranteed starter.

BBD is the one we should make a huge push for though.
He'd give us CF cover, a wide option and I think he would work well with Campbell & Moore. He's a proven source of goals at this level.

I haven't looked is bbd not getting game time ?

yes agree captain also think cannon would do a job for us despite all the negativity on this thread think bbd would be first choice if we could get him but cannon 2nd for me

Again, tell me what he'd offer that we haven't already got outside of fitness.

Tell me anything he does in games that we can't do or don't have players currently doing

It gives us more cover for injuries and players out of form and to be honest we have our fair share of injuries

He didn't impress me when we played Stoke so it was a no from me.
But reading Stoke's forum they seem very keen on him and want too keep him in January, they say he's a finisher but admit they struggle creating chances and that he would be better in a side that does create more, but he does seem popular on their forum.

Stoke forum don't particularly rate him from what I read this morning when trying to see their views on Campbell run! They say he can finish but that's it

If he can finish, you'd expect him to do well in a side like ours.

Wilder referenced the January signings that got us up under him in 2019.
Didn't we bring in Madine & Hogan? Both of them contributed significantly to getting us over the line. It'd be great to get back to that. We can't rely on Brewster or One.

I'd say Madine and Hanson in league one where the strikers who got us over the line. Think we need a pacey guy rather than just a finisher. They tend to say he's slow or lazy!

Last night - did absolutely nothing, I think he touched the ball about 5 times?

Again, his goal record this season is deceptive as most of them were against Portsmouth, and a large portion of them are penalties.

We do not need him, there are better options either out there or at the club already

Look at it from a different standpoint. Campbell wasn't great at Stoke either.....

But Campbell has not cost us anything other than wages and a signing on fee.
What attributes does cannon bring to the table that Campbell does not?

The "forget the maths" goal always gets a mention for obvious reasons (god I miss JOC) but it barely gets given a passing thought that it was technically Hogan who won us the game and promotion on account of us winning 2-0 and him scoring the first goal :D

This absolute walloper has been absolutely atrocious every time he's played in Sheffield this year, I'd be very upset if we retained any interest at all.

Lucky escape. Hopefully with a bit more dosh if we are taken over - we can do much better than him. He’s done his career no favours going to Stoke.

Let’s be honest.. that’s not exactly a high bar though.
no its not and just highlights the lack of firepower weve had all season if not for campbells goals we would never have seen top spot cannon and ben brereton would be my 2 to come in but know its unlikely to happen weve no chance of top 2 unless we bring a couple of proven championship strikers in next month
