Get a corner so deep into stoppage time where the ref will blow for HT once it is cleared from the box, and we don't put all 10 men into the box. This is basic shit lads...

We need 2 new powerhouse midfielders who can keep control of the ball and create.

We have no strength at all in our outfield. Shocking really

Chuffed for Brooks getting his first goal (and great feet from O'Hare) but most of out attacking play has come from their mistakes. The fact they looked very error prone and yet we've created little is not good.

Fellows should have scored earlier but that goal always looked like it was coming.

Zero midfield again. They've been able to run at our defenders way too easily at times.

Brooks has looked lively whilst not necessarily having an end product. Anel and Burrows also good but the rest need to do more.

Hamer one yellow away from a 2-game ban....

Peck and Davies poor 1st half
They look exhausted , we always knew we'd miss Blaster & Souza if they were both out and it won't be long before Yellow Hamer is out again - very poor of him to get booked when we're in this state with injuries

Too concerned with tippy-tappy keep ball, rather than trying to get up the field to score. Burrows is the only one interested in getting a cross in to the box.

Got to win more ball in the midfield areas, they have too much space and time to build up.

Noticed Grant didn't celebrate much, do you think he might be eying up a move to the Lane?

Midfield is piss poor today. Both in terms of keeping possession and creating chances. I’m not sure this formation is the right one for us. On paper ohare, hamer and Davies should boss games like this.
To be fair, we haven’t bossed the midfield in a game for a long time.

Yet another stupid booking for Hamer
I think that is number 10 so he misses the Sunderland game - prat. Dunno why everyone rates him. A bit like Vinny Jones - useful but overall is he really worth it given the damage he does to his own team.

This is the juxposition of a small squad and a limited game plan program. There appears to be no Plan B to change tactics as the game goes on...

Alas, this could be a defining moment in our season.....

When we are quick with the passing WBA looked susceptible. But our slow build up is easy pickings for them. More press, quicker passing i.e. know you your pass before you receive the ball and we should win. Slow, keeps them in it and becomes a lottery.
Happy for AB though.

Hamer yellow due to Davies losing the ball.

Moore has been poor also but he gets absolutely no protection from referees. It seems accepted that because he is a unit, that he can be smashed every game.

Not according to footie stats. They say he had 8 after 22. With bookings in the last two games this is game 24 then that's 10.

They are just waiting for the turnover in their half and a quick break out, they got lucky with the goal, but everybody needs to step up to get us something from this
