Has Marlon King gone?

Just had a phone call from a Blades mate saying he has been told at work that the Club has paid King up and they have parted ways?

Something similar has been asked on Bladesmad but that has just degenerated into people slagging the club off, as most things do on Bladesmad.

So has anyone heard anything?

Would be a good move prior to January as it's hard to see where he fits in after the performances he has put in since he arrived.

Clough seems to have a good grasp of the sort of characters he wants at the club and of the roles they should be playing to maximise their contribution. He has even got Flynn getting half a yard on a man to deliver a cross to one of our strikers recently - the blokes a fecking magician.

(to be fair to Flynn, I can't fault his work rate but he lacks that edge of pace to beat a man on the outside and deliver - so if he can start to do this from now on he can be a real asset to this side)

But that would further serve my point. Clough would discover a lot about the character of his players. If anybody saw that and wanted it, they obviously have no regard for their career or this club. We could look to move them on however possible.
