Probably the most entertaining game we've been in this season and maybe will be one of the spiker ones come the end of it.

Take a draw in that situation, silly from anel now he's out for 3 games which is 3 tough fixtures, home fans and players tried to pressure referee all game. 2 poor goals to give away which was contrast to our well crafted goals.

Such a shame as we could have took a sneaky 3 points with 11 men.

Given the nature of this game i think that is an excellent point, it's was a weird game because we've defended well but yet soutter and anel were poor, going forward we were poor but yet we were possibly the most clinical we have been all season. The only plus point, apart from the point was that although we've lost anel for 3 games Robinson is a more than capable replacement, had we had lost any other player for 3 games it would have been disastrous

Absolute garbage that, finally Robinson came on and showed some balls.
Garbage? A bit harsh to say the least. What do you expect against a team whose obvious plan from the off was to rattle us n get under our skin using shithousing n cheating.

Happy with that result. Bad game for the CBs - if Souttar is awake we win that game, and if Anel keeps calm we win it comfortably.

Looked poor early on, but got the goal and thought we should look to push on. Mistake lets them back in, but great goal from JRS to regain the lead.

Looked comfortable after that, until their little shitrag baits Anel into getting himself sent off.

Even after that, we looked fine defending the lead. Only another Souttar mistake gives them a 2nd goal.

Our performances immediately after international breaks need to be addressed. Shite vs Leeds and Middlesbrough, major individual fuck ups today amidst an overall average display. We're throwing away points in these games, and when we started 2 points behind everyone else, every point us that little bit more valuable to us.

Hopefully we improve on Tuesday.

I’m glad you stuck with it.
Switched off as soon as it became 2-2
I wasn't watching the last 12-15 minutes of one way traffic.

I don't mind us defending and keeping it tight when we're down to ten men, but offering absolutely nothing to a game, absolutely zero because we've had a man sent off, and then taking off the only players that are likely to relieve the pressure from the defence occasionally is just beyond fucking stupid in my opinion.

But that's Wilder, he either fancies the game or he doesn't. If he doesn't he turns into a right fucking wuss.

Pleased with that. Snide tactics aside Coventry are a good team. 10 mean and we beat them though, whenever we did anything good we scored!

You can't blame souttar when he's had to defend relentlessly for 45 mins and hasn't put a foot wrong.

Great effort and bodies on the line, but we shouldn't be surrendering 100% possession for a whole half just because of one less player. Think the subs of Rak Saki and Campbell were wrong as we just lost any counter attacking threat

Good point in the end. Away from home against a tough side we defended well aside from the equaliser. Don’t blame Wilder at all for changing tactics.

Bad day today

Souza injured
Hamer injured
Anel sent off

Add blaster out and Moore out and it’s tough times ahead

Happy with a point but could’ve been 3 if Anel hadn’t have been an idiot

Souttar was jet lagged. He looked fucked. And I'll be surprised if Vini is playing on Tuesday. Looked like a groin strain. ☹️
I think Vini likes to play the hero, you notice he was able to put some challenges in OK, then hold his groin!

Can’t believe they have MOM to that other snide Thomas, they didn’t have to do any defending!

To deal with it,and play our football, apart from the goals wе did neither

That cheating cunt ruined the game for me.

I have no issue with the red card, but Bassette should have walked too. He grabbed Anel's neck and should have already been on a yellow for deliberately planting an elbow on his jaw earlier in the game.

We'll get into trouble for what went off in the tunnel, but I hope someone called him what he is, and then called it him again.

Too right
We could open them up and pick them off at ease and got two goals doing just that, no problem with defending deeper even though it never works for us, but with an outball we could have done them again on the counter

How does their player end up with man of the match when he got to play 60 minutes against 10 men.

It's like sticking a 16 year old in an under 11s game and giving him motm after he scroes

I thought it was bizarre that Bassette was laughing as he walked off at half time. His team were losing! Selfish attitude where he cared more about his own little plan than the team. He’ll do Coventry more harm than good over the season.

Always going to be a tricky games, not helped by the weather, but happily take a point from that. Especially considering the circumstances.

Odd game again. We looked poor but showed quality 3 or 4 times and got two goals. Otherwise, Coventry looked more dangerous, even before Anel was a total idiot, but lacked the quality/intelligence/calmness around our box.

Our defenders were really poor, the subs aside. Both CBs looked like accidents waiting to happen. Slow. Uncertain. Clumsy. Not really surprising with Souttar given all the travelling. Gave them far too much time and space to put calls in and around the edge of the box. The lack of marking just outside of the box second half was wild at times.

Once again, I really don't understand the system we were trying to play first half. It seems our entire plan is give it to Hamer/O'Shea and hope they create something. Has been for a few weeks. It has worked, so far, but we've been lucky/clinical.Today, nothing stuck up front. First half we passed the ball round the back dangerously a lot and often then just gave it away. It reminded me a lot of last season, but in the Premier League we'd have conceded 3 or 4 by half time.

We're now without Anel for 3 matches. So Robbo has to play 3 games in a week. which will be a push. Other option is Gilchrist but unconvinced of him in a 4. As I am also about RND. i'd not be overly surprised to see a back 5 with Seriki and Burrows/McAllum pushed up. We've had nothing up front since Moore got injured and the ball just comes back.

Let's hope that Rak-Saki and Hamer both hobbling off is nothing serious.

Overall, poor performance, outside of a couple of short periods where we dominated, good result. Again.

Good point all things considered.

Anel was daft but personally he didn’t strike him and he didn’t raise his hands to his face. Bassette is a cheat. He knows he didn’t touch his face. But what can you say? Maybe Anel should have Meade a meal of him shoving his neck when he was down. Anel would have been far smarter walking up to him and doing a 2-1 gesture. That would have been the way to get your own back. Beat him. But daft and gave the ref a decision to make.

Souttar was in my view at fault for both goals. He need not have left the first; there was opportunity to clear. The second he ended up challenging Oné and completely lost his man. What was he thinking? But it’s easy to forget it’s not just the legs but the mind that gets tired when you’re down to 10.

We were sensible with the subs, though I think it wasn’t the game for Oné. But then again, who else do you bring on? Not the game to ease Davies back in. Maybe you could have asked Brooks to play further up but that’s not his role either. Probably want to take it steady with Norrington-Davies too.

Just shows how we are paying for being that one forward light.

Worth noting too that we are averaging two points per game, despite a. Having two points taken away from us when far worse was done by teams like Leicester and b. The fixtures have somehow given us 9 away matches from the first 16 matches. Hopefully home comforts can help aching bodies.
